"Capital has long been a staple in Madison's brewing scene. They offer 15 beers on tap, along with a seltzer and a few guest taps. On my most recent visit, I found a delightful selection, including Munich Dunkel, IPA, Pilsner, lager, amber, maibock, doppelbock, sour, NE IPA, barleywine, shandy, pumpkin, kellerbier, and several ciders. All of the offerings are good – clean, crisp, and flavorful. While their beers aren't typically thick or creamy, dark beer lovers will still find plenty to enjoy here. The tasting room is steeped in history, and the service is exceptionally friendly. They also have ample space for events, particularly in the summer, and I've participated in several charity events there. I will definitely be returning!"
