"This was our 4th time dining at Redbird in two months. The menu has changed a bit but delicious nonetheless. Our favorite server is Emily and we request her because of her delightful and cheerful energy. No matter what time of day Emily provides a fresh and energetic presence to make the dining experience that much more wonderful. The food and drinks were on the mark and the service was extremely efficient and detail oriented. This is a perfect atmosphere for fine dining and a date nite for sure. One of my favorites. My date was the most beautiful woman in the city and I honestly had a hard time focusing on the meal but managed not to aspirate or choke. lol. I strongly recommend Redbird to anyone looking for a 5 star quisine and exceptional service. Not sure that there is anything better in the DTLA area."

"It was a tough day since it was Fathers Day so we expected lots of people, noise, etc. We had a reservation which I confirmed when I walked in but we ended up waiting 30+ minutes to be seated because the host tried to seat us at a table for 5 (after waiting 15min) when we were a party of 6. I confirmed 6 when I first came in as well as showed him my confirmation text to which he responded well I don 't know where that came from. I really like Watts and ultimately they got us seated and gave us a little treat since we had small children with us. I just wished that the customer service would have been more proactive and less confrontational about something that was out of our control as well. The food was great, drinks were great. Service was fine although our waiter was clearly overwhelmed. I have had many positive experiences here so we will most likely return. If I can give any feedback its to over-staff a bit for events where you know you will be busy. The host was clearing and setting tables, running drinks, etc."

"I attended the New Year's Prefix party at the restaurant and found the table placement and atmosphere to be excellent, especially with the live band. However, we waited nearly an hour before our first meal was served, and we weren't even offered bread. The table was improperly set, and we had to request cutlery and napkins after the food arrived. The main course was served before the appetizers, and then everything came out at once, which caused our food to be too cold. There was no flexibility in adapting the menu options. While the staff was very friendly, the overall service experience was disappointing. With a final bill of over $320 for two people (which included just two glasses of cheap wine), it didn't feel like the cost was justified given the level of service. On the plus side, the food was delicious and the ambiance was nice, but the overall organization left much to be desired."

"There were 4 of us. The seating and atmosphere was nice. A majority of the food was good except for the steak that I had. I ordered it medium to medium rare but I got well done. Also a side order of hot rolls was not with the food and I had to flag the server twice and got the rolls as I was finishing my over cooked steak. Probably won’t go back since they don’t know how to cook protein."

"Our first visit to Slow Hand and we really enjoyed it! I tried a seasonal cocktail that was really delicious, and after all the holiday indulging my husband and I split 2 apps and 2 small plates that were the perfect amount of food. The hush puppies were pretty authentic and Nashville hot chicken wings are definitely going to warm you up on a cold night, they were crispy and spicy and delicious. The mussels were perfect with the delicious broth and a hearty serving for a 'small plate, ' and the pork belly was really good (after reading other reviews we decided to try it)! My husband wished for more of the potato puree and he didn 't love the pork rind that came with it (too hard). The service was a little slow and the place is a bit noisy but it was full of energy and we were able to sit back and relax."

"Was a great experience we had visiting Harpoon Willys. We went on. Wensday, in which they had a clam special that came with greenbeans and frid potatoes that we ordered as appetizers. It was definitely more than the 15 class that was said to come with, which was a nice added bonus. Personally, I don't think the potatoes added anything to it, but they were crunchy and tender. We did really enjoy the clams as they were a decent size too. My wife ordered a lobster salad that had a sweet seaseme dressing that complimented it nicely. I ordered a burger with fries and was very happy with the steak fries and the cook on my burger. However, I was surprised that the burger bun was a roll bun, which let me down a bit. Overall, it was a good experience. Our waiter was personable and attentive."

"We started with the classic calamari, which was chewy and not very tasty. Then we tried the meatballs, which were incredibly dry and overloaded with garlic. My dining partner ordered a pizza for dinner, but it was undercooked and terrible, tasting more like a frozen pizza and half-raw. I had the tuna, which was good, but the seasoning on it was overwhelming—it was crusted with lavender, which was not to my taste. My other dining companion ordered the halibut special, which I tasted and found to be good. On the positive side, the service was excellent; our waiter was attentive and charming. Unfortunately, the food left me disappointed overall."

"BLVD 25 delivered a great meal! To start, the chef put together a wonderful menu. Though the food preparations were unique they were not out there. I could have ordered many different items On the menu and can’t wait to return to try additional dishes. We were a party of four. Three people started with the BLVD salad and one had the onion soup. Both items were plentiful and delicious. Next two people ordered the steak and two ordered the crab cakes. All items arrived together and were cooked to order. Crab-shrimp cakes and were all crab and shrimp and not deep fried. Steaks were yummy! Interesting and delicious side dishes accompanied both entrees. In addition the drinks were prepared perfectly and wine selection by the glass was impressive. The only reason they did not receive a 5 star rating was the noise. Though we were able to talk it was on the loud side. Nonetheless I am anxious to return."

"My family and I had a great experience at Amada. The ambiance, food, drinks and service were all 5 stars. The restaurant is located in the Ocean Casino. Although we were staying at another casino, we decided to visit the Ocean Casino so we could dine at Amada and we are glad we did so. They accommodated us with a beautiful round booth with views of the water. We had 2 waiters, Frank and David, and they both provided great service and were very attentive to our table. My parents, my son and myself enjoyed each and every tapas dish we ordered. Everything was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. My drink “Broken Embraces” was delicious. If you like tequila based drinks, I recommend you try it! Thanks Amada! We will definitely be back and look forward to visiting your Philly location as well."

"My wife and I have been enjoying The Raymond and the 1886 Bar for about 15 years. There's something special about this place--the cozy/romantic interior, the amazing bar, the way the staff seems to always recognize and welcome us. They make us feel at home there. The bar is particularly noteworthy--you'll be hard-pressed to find a better cocktail not just in Pasadena, but in Los Angeles. We are frequent visitors to the best cocktail bars and speakeasies here and in NYC, and the quality of the bar program at 1886 is of the highest level. Even with changes of management, ownership, and staff over all these years, they have kept a focus on hospitality and the overall quality has remained high across the board--an impressive accomplishment. We dine out often, but for us, after all these years there's still no substitute for The Raymond."

"When we want a special treat, we always think of one of Scott Ouellette's great dining establishments. Whether it be O Steaks and Seafood in Laconia, O Concord or Canoe in Center Harbor (all our faves) it is pretty much guaranteed to be great food and great service. Our recent experience at O in Laconia was just that. The food was delicious, the service we received from our server, Courtney, was just right and the ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic! The couple we met for dinner are old friends and they brought along their two school age children. Courtney was kind and very helpful, answering their questions and helping out with special requests. All in all, just a great evening out with friends, enjoying great food and company!"

"We had a nice, solid meal here. I think the ambience is nice here, and I wouldn't hesitate to take someone here for a date! There were just a few things that I felt could be improved, hence the 4 stars. We ordered the mussels, friend got a cobb salad and I listened to Victor G. and got the burger minus the bacon). The mussels were very good. Sauce was super garlicky and yummy. A few of the mussels were closed, so not perfect, but I would order them again. I didn't try the cobb salad, but it looked really delicious... perfect avocado and a good portion of chicken. It got a thumbs up from my friend. The burger was definitely as good as promised. I found it to be nice and juicy, very tasty with distinct flavors. I thought it was pretty excellent... I gobbled it down super quickly. I wasn't a big fan of the fries though, their texture was off for me. They tasted kind of stale, even though I knew they couldn't possibly be. I'm kind of a fry snob, so maybe I'm just picky... but the real problem with them was the house-made ketchup. The ketchup is unappetizing, bordering on gross. I ate it because I felt obligated to after the waiter's little spiel about it. Dear all restaurants everywhere: Can we please stop with the artisan ketchup thing? Everyone just wants Heinz anyway! I ended up dipping the fries in the mussel sauce. but I would've preferred ketchup. : I would definitely return to Rustic Tavern and try some of their other stuff. But next time, I'll smuggle in a bottle of Heinz!!"

"On 10/25/24 my wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner at Oceano’s. Her shrimp scampi and my grilled swordfish entree was simply delicious. Our server Kristen was terrific. "Best Breakfast with a view on Maui! I was hesitant to write a review for selfish reasons, we have been coming to this spot for 8 years for Breakfast and it is always consistent and surprisingly not very busy, this is truly one of the hidden gems on Maui. Get there early for a window seat. Lobster or Crab Benedict is Amazing... I would recommend splurging the extra 3$ for the lobster : !!! Calamari is a great appetizer as well! They also have a pro shop next door with great souvenirs."
