"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"The food here is consistently fresh and delicious! My top picks include the Chorizo Taco (number 11), Sweet Plantains (number 62), and the Fresh Chicken Taco (number 8), especially with extra cilantro. I've also enjoyed their tasty rice and beans, as well as the steak and chorizo tacos. One time they forgot my cilantro, but I can't deduct a star because the food is just that incredible. I order from here at least four times a month. I've tried other places, but I always find myself coming back to El Poblano. Thank you to everyone who works there; you're doing an amazing job!"

"What a great experience. First of all, I am Cuban and my mom cooks amazingly. So my standards are high. The plantain Mariquitas are well done and traditional. They came accompanied with a tomato based dipping sauce, however I prefer the traditional lime/garlic sauce. The Yuca Fries are perfect, crispy and light with a great dipping sauce. I had the Fricase de Pollo (chicken fricasee very similar to an Italian Cacciatore) and it could be no better. The sauce is the traditional Cuban base and tasty. For dessert I had the Flan and was pleasantly surprised to see that they drip a little guava marmalade in the plate. The kitchen not only cooks traditionally but also plates very nicely. The ambiance feels classy and very Cuban...they even have an elegant Cuban Domino table set and ready to be used. Service was friendly and efficient. A great experience and much more authentic than the other Cuban restaurant located across the street, which left me unimpressed a few weeks back."

"My family and I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We wanted several items from the menu, but they were all unavailable, leaving us with limited choices. Even the drinks were lacking; they didn’t have what we were looking for, and their selection was quite poor. It's no surprise they don't seem to attract many customers. We also desired to sit outside, but were told it wasn't possible, only to see a party of 7-8 seated there shortly after us. Overall, it wasn’t a good experience. To make matters worse, my husband was still eating his tacos when they took his salsas away to serve to another table without asking. We won't be returning."

"This is the first time I apos;ve ordered from here everthing was really delicious....except the fries. ~The tamale was really good but sauce over it was BOMB, very little product inside but still very good. ~Rice is your typical mex rice. ~Nachos were typical Carne Asada was good very little fat. I do wish they offered Nacho Cheese not just jack cheese but that apos;s a personal preference. ~All the different salsas pico delish ~The FRIES were very soggy, wet in fact. Shouldn apos;t be placed in unvented, styrofoam box in the bottom of the bag. I apos;ve yet to order fries from ANYWHERE that arrived crispy so I don apos;t fault them for it however they apos;d not have been so WET if changed boxing procedures a little. Other than the really good food the order was perfect! They follwed all my crazy instructions to the T. That almost never happens! Also, the dash driver was awesome followed delivery instructions perfectly. Even texted to offer additional assistance! I doubled his tip so he knew he was appreciated. FYI this review is based on 3 diff peoples opinion ;0)"

"This restaurant deserves zero stars—it's a complete waste of money. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, look elsewhere. The food tasted terrible and had an unpleasant smell. The only redeeming aspect was the drinks, but that's not enough to make up for the experience. Save your money and go somewhere else!"
