"If I had to describe it with 1 word, I would say "fabulous", if with 2 words - "go there". But let me use a few more words. There are two things which are great at this restaurant - food and service. Design is nice, location is not bad, but even for people who leave in Richmond Hill, it's not a short trip.We shared a few appetizers. Deep fried calamari are the best calamari I tried! Very tender calamari with interesting crust of paprika flour (I didn't had a clue about such flour), and lemon-basil aioli added some nice sour and fresh shade to the taste of seafood.I'm not big fan of tacos, but these ones were amazing: combination of mild sweetness of shrimp, hot from jalapeno cream, light bitterness from radish and sourness of pickled red onion were in a perfect balance.Tuna Tataki contrasted to lotus root chips, watermelon and cucumber salad added some fresh taste, and the avocado mousse added some smoothness. Then I had grilled marinated pork chop. It's a very basic and simple dish, you can't expect much from it, but it was the best pork I ever ate! Pork should be taken with a bit of shavings of fennel and apple, as well as barley-asparagus-goat cheese risotto. I would applaud to a chef more for the amazing elaboration on that simple dish than to anything else.Deserts: we shared Maple creme brule with macerated berries and Port wine poached pear with lemon mascarpone cream and star anise. Both deserts were fantastic, but on my taste the pear was much more interesting as a perfect balance of tastes - not too sweet, or too much port "notes", good texture contrast between star, pear and cream. It's definitely worth travel north to Aurora to visit "Fishbone Kitchen Bar"!"
