"In general, this restaurant is decent. However, on Sundays they have a special for $7 High Life pitchers. We ordered two of those and a Bloody Mary, which ended up costing us $41. That seems like a pretty expensive Bloody Mary, right? Turns out, the clean-shaven bartender upstairs made a mistake and charged us incorrectly. The bartender with facial hair was great, but the clean-shaven one charged us $41 for our order and when we asked about it, he completely ignored us. He turned his back and refused to address the issue. The lack of respect and unwillingness to admit mistakes was disappointing. Other than that, it's not a bad place, but make sure to double-check your receipts and avoid the clean-shaven bartender upstairs."

"that has been a staple food for me for 20 years, even after I moved, I would come back to the breakfast at the visit. Unfortunately, that was my last visit. the charm is gone. No one welcomes them. they sit down. Nobody comes to her table. they are reliant on signs to sect themselves and scan a code and view menu and order the website and they are asked to pay and leave a tipp before the service. I wanted to know if they have mandible milk and if I could turn off the avacoado in my packaging, answer that were hard to come. I like to watch a menu to view my options holistic and interact for the service. as someone else said: I have basically ordered to take out an app and use one of their tables. they wait, the staff stood to drink coffee. You used to pay the front who prompted you to search the bookstore. no more. I'm obviously not awakened enough for this place."

"The restaurant has the ambiance of a dive bar, but its menu is far from ordinary pub fare. We enjoyed the Chanterelle mushroom quesadilla, creamy ranchero dip, smoked wings, and a shrimp Po' boy sandwich, all of which were absolutely delicious! They also have a fantastic selection of cocktails and beers. Our server, Jess F, was wonderful. Despite it being a busy Sunday night with preparations for live music, she remained friendly, attentive, and efficient. We will definitely return to explore more of the menu and soak in the atmosphere."

"We reserved a 1st floor table (got a booth) for our party of 5 (two kids) to enjoy the Sunday chicken dinner. Took awhile for our server to take our drink order, but once we ordered, service was prompt and polite. The food was very good with the chicken being the star. Biscuits were my second favorite. Green beans were home grown and pretty good. I would say the mashed potatoes and corn salad were OK. The desserts were fantastic especially the bread pudding. Kids enjoyed the food and it didn’t break the bank. My kids really wanted to check out the 2nd and 3rd floors and one of the waitresses recommend we check out the patio on the second floor which the kids got a kick out of. Overall, a very good experience. Would recommend."

"The service wasn't the best. The waitress disappeared and took other customer orders before bringing syrup to the table. Syrup is a must for pancakes. The food was warm, hasbrowns were hot, pancakes were ok but seem mass produced and not hot. I wanted to like this place but the experience and the food isn't worth a return visit for my family of 4."

"I went to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday dinner. She ordered the catfish, which looked and smelled amazing. My daughter, her husband, and I opted for the all-you-can-eat perch, while my wife had chicken fingers. Everything was delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. "Don 't know if the stuff is overworked or if they are being underpaid or maybe the owners or manager running the restaurant just doesn 't talk to his employees about the importance of good customer service. Anyway, first time at this location, lady taking myorder had a very bad attitude, I would ask about some of the menu options and she literally said to me just read the menu andthen went on to the cashier and I didn 't know I wasn 't supposed to get a number so I said I didn 't get one and he replied with avery arrogant tone and said that I was supposed to just repeat the whole order to him!! I mean what was the point of giving thefirst lady my big order to begin with? Why didn 't she pass this on? Well of this is how Santini operates than I am far fromimpressed on their out dated ordering system. Finally, I had a chef salad which was medium par with a terrible stiff and coldpiece of bread. I also ordered 7 other subs for my guys but I haven 't heard how good or bad those were. Over all, not apleasant visit, I may give Santinis another try but definitely not this location."

"The ambiance was the only positive aspect of this restaurant. Unfortunately, our server seemed more interested in her phone than in attending to our table. It took 43 minutes for our food to finally arrive after placing our order. I ordered a burger with fries cooked medium, but it came out well done. The fries were described as fresh cut, but appeared to be frozen and were cold. The beer cheese that came with the fries looked like it had been sitting out overnight. Overall, the food was mediocre at best. I do not recommend dining here. Keep driving and find another restaurant to eat at."

"I work in the same shopping center as the Salon-Salon building, where there is a barbershop that has been around for a decade. I always try to eat locally in the shopping center, and I finally decided to try the Squia sandwich. As soon as I saw the barbecue chicken sandwich on the menu, I knew I had to order it. I have to say, it was the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. The Sequoia Sandwich Co. will not disappoint. It has a laid-back vibe with cool jazz playing, making it a great place to relax for lunch. I plan on trying their other sandwiches soon, and I hear their Cobb salad is amazing. After enjoying a meal at Sequoia, you can even head over to the barbershop for a haircut and a free beer - talk about a great deal!"

"Went in on a whim for brunch, had the seafood omelet. Quite possibly the best omelet I've ever had! The cinnamon bread was delicious also. Went back again for thanksgiving dinner. It was all the traditional family favorites, all were delicious. I wasn't as disappointed I wasn't home with my family for the holiday. The food and service are great, definitely will be back and recommend to anyone!"

"I was really disappointed with my experience. I ordered a pepperoni pizza for delivery, which was estimated to arrive in 22-32 minutes. Instead, it took a whole hour because they use DoorDash for deliveries. By the time the pizza arrived, it was barely warm. After warming it up, I found the flavors to be quite bland; I could barely finish one slice. To make matters worse, they sent me a half pepperoni pizza, claiming that the second half would cost extra. I had never requested a half pizza, and I shouldn’t have to pay extra just to get a full one. Perhaps their other menu items are better, but the pizza was certainly a letdown."

"The diner has a charming atmosphere both inside and out. Its retro decor features vinyl records, 8-track and cassette tapes, vintage metal punch boxes, and old license plates adorning the walls. A wall-mounted TV constantly plays episodes of The Brady Bunch, adding to the nostalgic vibe. Since it was Mother's Day, the restaurant was quite busy. The limited space between some of the interior tables made it a bit challenging for wait staff and customers to move around comfortably. Perhaps rearranging the tables near the entrance could alleviate this issue. The menu is quite extensive, and I opted for the Welshaus (I apologize for not taking a photo). The fish portion was generous and very tasty, although I personally would have preferred it with less breading. I enjoyed the shoestring fries, and my husband found the coleslaw to be delicious. There is also outdoor seating available, and the overall maintenance of the establishment is commendable."

"We stopped for brunch before the Steelers game. When we arrived, there were only three other customers, but it took a long time to get our drinks and even longer after we placed our order. I ended up having to go behind the bar to get another drink myself. As more people started to come in, the service did improve, but it still felt like there weren't enough servers for the number of guests. The food, while tasty, arrived lukewarm, as if it had been sitting out for a while before being served. Despite the issues, I like Cain's and would consider returning."

"Wow! This restaurant is a shadow of its former glory. We chose it because of its reputation, as we had enjoyed many great meals here in the past. However, we were shocked to see the empty parking lot. Then we noticed a sign at the door that read, "No Breakfast Mon-Fri." What diner in Jersey doesn't serve breakfast? They only offer breakfast buffets on the weekends. The buffet itself was underwhelming, though the price was reasonable. Our server was friendly, but I'm concerned about how they will manage to keep this place in business."
