"I visited this restaurant on April 29, 2024 with a group mostly consisting of non-vegans. You select your table and order at the counter. I had looked at the menu beforehand and saw that they offered a burger which could be upgraded to an impossible burger for an additional $3. However, when I went to order, I was informed that they actually served Beyond Burgers instead of impossible burgers, even though the menu was incorrect. I was fine with the Beyond Burger, but I was surprised to be charged an extra $2 when I asked for a side of greens. I mentioned to the staff member that the menu suggested the greens were included at no extra cost, but he confirmed that it was a mistake and would be corrected on the next menu update. However, he did not offer to remove the surcharge for the greens. The burger itself was $19, with additional charges for the Beyond patty, greens, and vegan cheese, bringing the total to $25. I felt like I was being unfairly charged a "vegan tax" in a restaurant that didn't seem to value its vegan customers. Furthermore, the menu advertised the burger as having 7 ounces of meat, but the Beyond Burger patty was actually only 4 ounces. Despite the delicious taste of the burger, it was not worth the high price in my opinion. I will not be returning to this restaurant."
