"We were staying in Morgantown for a long weekend. We tried to get a table here the first night we were there. They were closing early due to a staff shortage. Two days later we tried again. We were seated right away. Our waiter, who was fantastic, apologized in advance for any delay because he was waiter, busser, cashier, host ...he was very busy. My husband and I each ordered a beer. Our waiter brought our drafts with the apology that those were the last 2 beers he could squeeze out; the CO2 lines were down. A brewery . With no brews. On Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. I know Covid has stressed restaurants to the max... but this was a disappointment. The pizza was really good. If I am back in Morgantown I would try this place again, making sure they had draft beer first!! They posted these signs just before we left. Had we known there was an issue we would have gone elsewhere."

"I absolutely love this new restaurant! We enjoyed garlic cheese bread, sausage and pepperoni pizza, and our child had spaghetti with a red sauce. We all agreed that we will definitely be returning. It's about an hour drive from us, but we often visit Forest Park for our weekend walks, and this place has become our new favorite spot! The staff were all friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for families and group gatherings. I can't wait to visit again. Dining in was a great experience."

"Cute little place in the corner of the square.. I didn't get the steak today, it rained, so I got potato soup and white chicken. Let me say the chicken was so soft n juicy melted n my mouth. "eating is great! it's a bit waiting, but it's worth it. this place is a hidden man! this is an update to my first review: eating is still amazing and the personal is too. yesterday evening I called the waiter garrett the wrong name like 5 times and he laughed at him every time. eating is as amazing as ever, but also wanted to update with something picture. seriously, if they really want good fresh, itallian food did not go on. they will order the food, a picture is their gnocchi in Alfredo sauce, which is not on the menu, but they make it for us all the time when we ask. this place is amazing, good service and good people!"

"This restaurant has the best margarita I've ever tasted and a fantastic atmosphere. The food and drinks were delicious, with a wide selection of tequila and margaritas. The portions were generous and the service was excellent - our waiter was friendly, checked on us regularly, and split our bill without any hassle. We were seated quickly, despite the busy restaurant, and our food arrived promptly. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting San Diego - I would definitely return. "We decided to have a drink and appetizer on The River Walk tonight. It was our first time for my family at this particular establishment. We ordered three drinks, a pop and also, queso for our chips. Our waiter was nice and prompt with our drinks and appetizer. My dismay is with the restaurant itself a woman came outside from the restaurant (I do not know who she was or her job title) and came to our table and said right to my face stop feeding the birds then walked away. I never once fed any animal and we quickly paid the bill and immediately left. The waiter apologized for this women's behavior, which was nice of him. I will never ever return to this restaurant and give them our business. Please stay away from a restaurant that treats there patrons RUDELY!!"

"A perfect stop on a bike tour (enCYCLEpedia Southern California ride RM2) due to the plentiful outdoor terrace with tables that are enough to set bicycles. A very nice attentive young women's server has improved the experience. Antipasto salad was refreshing, tho salad is not as many goodies as others. We get used to their fantastic fresh cakes like the Elton John Veggie, so that our slices, which were sitting out and reheated, did not weigh up as expected, but still good. Something new, they're taking credit cards now. We'll be back, but with more people, so we can get a fresh cake to split."

This made me hopeful for a wonderful dining experience. While I prefer not to criticize food, as everyone has different preferences, I must say that I found the burrito to be lacking in flavor. In fact, I’ve had Wonder Bread with more taste. My colleague shared a similar sentiment about their chicken dish. "Excellent food, and our waitress was an absolute pleasure. She was genuinely one of the sweetest waitresses I've ever encountered. I can't remember her name, but she had long(ish) dark hair with a Monroe stud. Loved her!!I'm from Cincinnati, and I have to say that the Cincinnati style chili at Hard Times Cafe is BETTER than any Cincinnati style chili I've had in Cincinnati (Gold Star, Skyline, Dixie Chili, Camp Wahington Chili). Onion rings were seasoned to perfection. Iced tea was freshly brewed. The chili sampler was such a cool feature, so you can see which kind you wanted. I wasn't sure, so the sampler really helped me out with my choice. Oh, and don't get me started on the sweet corn bread! A must try!"

"It was great! My fiancé and I came here last night for dinner. I got the 4 taco platter and my fiancé got the three taco meal. We also ordered some beers and a margarita. Being attached to a bar I was worried tbh. But the food was great! I got the pastor and my fiancé got the shredded beef. I got two soft shell and two hard shell tacos. After asking for salsa for my tacos. The server informed me that it is a $4 up charge for chips and salsa. (Which I thought was weird at first). Until I tried the sauce! Omg the sauce was amazing. And overall the price isn’t bad! You have the option for add ons. Which cost extra. But even with the weird salsa for your taco charge (which they actually ended up giving us for free. Since it was our first time). It is cheaper than most if not all Mexican restaurants of that quality. Plus if you have young ones who are plain eaters. They offer things like cheeseburgers, mozzarella sticks, wings, and French fries. I would highly recommend to anyone even families. As the restaurant is separate section of the building than the bar it is attached to! Great patio seating also!"
