Later, another server informed us that they had mixed up the broth, mistakenly using the wrong one for the soup, which raised concerns about whether they had confused it with a pot of coffee. My guest ordered egg rolls that were labeled on the menu as Spicy Chicken Egg Rolls, but they arrived without any meat. The server acknowledged the error, explaining that they only served Pork Egg Rolls, which was disappointing since my guest doesn’t eat pork. This inconsistency definitely needs to be addressed on the menu, as there was no protein in those rolls.
The fried rice was bland and flavorless, lacking even soy sauce, and we were informed that we had to request soy sauce separately. The curry chicken was similarly unappealing and watered down. When we spoke with Rona, the manager, she was neither welcoming nor friendly, and her attitude didn't reflect the restaurant's supposed culture. While the serving staff did acknowledge their mistakes and apologized, Rona merely stated they serve vegetable egg rolls, which should have been clearly indicated on the menu. She didn't apologize for the overall experience; instead, she made excuses and claimed she hadn't heard our complaints before, which wasn't surprising given that the restaurant is new.
In summary, I won't be returning to this establishment. I understand that it's a new restaurant, but Rona's attitude significantly detracted from the experience. Customers, especially regular casino patrons, deserve better treatment."
