"We absolutely love Danny Boy. We are staying here at Gamble Sands for four nights and so have had breakfast and dinner here for three of those days. The portions are huge. The food is delicious. The staff has been amazing. We have felt welcome each time we have dined. The ambiance is spectacular as the views are gorgeous, the sunsets have been the best and the we have loved the outdoor seating. We will be back."

"Best Greasy Spoon in Anchorage! Such a diner delight, this diner was a hit. Great atmosphere with all the bells and whistles that makes greasy spoons special to me. Great menu choices with pretty reasonable prices for huge food portions. Only negative was being out of apple pie. I can't dink them for that! Tater tots were on point just as the onion rings. Amazing grilled crust on both sandwiches. Ice cream was phenomenal in looks and taste. I will make sure to be a regular and bring friends. A greasy spoon is a term of endearment in my eyes. A hard working person place to get a decent meal at a decent price. Better than home made meals with great staff."
