"The buffet offered a variety of options, including fried and baked chicken and fish, fried shrimp (both hot and cold), fried oysters, frog legs, boiled crawfish, and a selection of vegetables, greens, and potatoes, along with some very thin steaks swimming in liquid. Sticking to my usual routine, I opted for the fried seafood and chicken—definitely not the healthiest choice, but what can I say? While everything was edible, aside from the fried chicken and cold boiled shrimp, it was tough to get overly excited about the food. Speaking of the shrimp, it’s clear that being close to the coast makes a difference in quality.
Overall, I found the buffet to be a decent value, particularly in terms of quantity. I left feeling quite full for just $16 (drink included) and ended up lounging on the couch for a bit afterwards, nursing a food coma."
