"We were staying at The Cardinal and had lunch in the restaurant. It was so disappointing. The service was super slow. I suspect it was mostly due to the kitchen but while we waited we weren’t offered another drink or anything else. The French onion soup broth is good. The onions were not caramelized though. The cheese was high quality. The chicken sandwich was both burnt and cold. Quite an accomplishment really. For a $19 sandwich it was underwhelming. The waitress asked if we wanted it remade but after waiting 30 minutes for it the first time we didn’t have time. We didn’t eat it. So, we left hungry. "Not it. Which is such a bummer cause the inside and ambiance is amazing. We just went for Sunday brunch. It was completely empty besides my husband and I and another two top. Our server was so cute and nice but omg the service was so terrible. I get it's a college town, I get it's Sunday. But we all waiting and waited and waited while the servers hung out and drank and snacked at the bar together while our drinks just sat there. Our first order came out incorrect and had to wait 15 mins for new food. Our drinks came after our food arrived, because of said chatting and drinking. Our entrees were ice cold and fried food when it gets cold is just a bad bite. My eggs Benedict were drownedddddddd in a whipped mayonnaise and vinegar concoction. It was terrible and I couldn't finish it. The burger bombs were amazing though, and the drinks when we got them were correct were decent. I didn't love that I asked for a second margarita with no salt rim, then had it come with salt rim, then couldn't get our servers attention cause it was hang out hour, then took it to the bar myself and had the bartender dump it into a glass with no rim while dumping the salt along with it into the bottom of the new glass. So that wasn't yum. We won't be back, I hope this place gets better cause it's really funky inside and the concept is great."

"Probably one of the worst services I’ve ever received. Waitress had an attitude from the second we sat, we ordered one beer, one appetizer and one entree and she literally never put in the entree, we had to walk up to the bar to ask where our food was, then we had to go back to the bar to get out check she never came back to our table. It was kinda bizarre. We should have just walked out. Food tasted terrible"

"We had a wonderful experience last night! When we arrived, there were only about a dozen people dining, and we received outstanding service. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and we enjoyed every one of them. Although the food menu didn’t match what we had seen online, we ended up ordering something unexpected, and it was fantastic! Our server even gave us a voucher for a return visit and mentioned that the manager had just updated the online menu."

"My husband and I planned a small (30 people) impromptu wedding in about 1 month. Following the ceremony, we had a 5 course dinner celebration with wine pairings at Fausto. We could not be happier with how the dinner went! First, Tony and Austin werethe best to work with ? they were easygoing and professional from the start and their communication throughout the planningprocess was fantastic. They allowed us to bring in our own table decor and printables which they setup for us, however theydid offer the option to take care of decor/printables for us. The night was exactly what we envisioned. We had a blast andeverything from the setup to intimate setting, service, presentation, and meal was absolutely delightful. The food wasah mazing and the wine pairings were perfect. Tony, Austin, and the rest of the Fausto staff made us and our guests feelwelcome. You can tell they really love what they do. 10/10!"

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables like me. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."
