"After 5 days in Ft. Lauderdale my family and I found a bad place to eat. We had reservations and were a little early. We told the waitress we could wait and she said no we have a table now. Once we sat... we sat.. and sat. And waited and waited. 25 minutes later and after being passed by the same waiter 4 times and another waitress 3 times, not one person asked if we wanted drinks or anything about the menu. We got up and left. Walked past the same person that sat us and she never said a word. My family was well dressed and well mannered. Not sure what the problem was?? They were not overly busy. As far as I’m concerned, you owe me the $6 I paid to park for the 25 minutes we were ignored. Less than 1 star and no recommendations."

"An elevated experience for vegetarians which I know is sometimes hard to find. Very positive review. Food was excellent. Service superb. My wife and I usually order several things and share them. I know, romantic but corny. We had the fivecheese plate, assorted diphummustzatziki sauce appetizer, a soup tomato basil and a warm beet and goat cheese salad. We let the server select the order of service and she did a great job. There were several cheese to choose from pick or and one we selected was a vegan nutbased option. That was probably the only thing I wouldn't recommend. It wasn't bad, I just didn't happen to find it enjoyable. Even if you're not a vegetarian, this place is delicious. That written, if you know a vegetarian like me and want to find a place for an upscale dining experience, this is one of the topten upscale allvegetarian places I've been to. If management is reading this and wants a suggestion for improvement ... cloth napkins. More environmentally friendly than paper and makes me feel better about spending on a meal with a couple of drinks less tip than paper napkins"

"First, I called to see if a reservation was required or if there was a wait. I was told they were full with no reservations left for the day. This was on a Saturday at 2:15 pm. I check the availability via Open Table and saw indeed I could make a reservation and proceed to do so for a party if 3 at 2:45 pm. I then called just to confirm my reservation and indeed she had us down, all the while driving to this restaurant. I just figured they held a number of tables for Open Table bookings. When we arrived to our amazement the whole restaurant only had 3 tables that were full. Upon entering and checking in, the hostess greeted us and stated table for 3 (while grabbing 3 menus)? I replied yes, I had a reservation for giving her my last name . Food on the menu looked great but the Mac n cheese with short ribs tasted like regular Mac n cheese. My spouse sent it back. The pork chops were tender but there was just too much sauce on the top of them. My spouse decided he would try the spaghetti and meat balls. Not! The manager did come over after we sent the Mac b cheese dish back. We did ask him how the spaghetti was and he stated that was the one dish even he had not tried since becoming manager. We didn 't send the spaghetti back. We ask for it to go. Did not want to seem rude. The food here was just not that good. We will not be going back. On a good note: the waiter provided great service and answered all our questions regarding the menu for first time visitors. The manager was very accommodating and polite."

"This restaurant was highly recommended by our host during our vacation in the area. The pizza was excellent and also the first time my husband and I had “real” New York Pizza… (we live in Florida). The atmosphere was nice and so were the servers. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a nice relaxing dinner. You could tell that quite a few people in the restaurant were regulars and that also added a nice ambiance."

"Marmalade offers a fantastic selection of breakfast foods; it can get rather crowded, but it's one of my favorite spots to grab brunch on the weekends. The gluten-free Crepa Falso and Efrain's Diablo Omeletta are superb, and the titular Lady Marmalade is to die for. Free refills on coffee and tea, too! Highly recommended."
