"I stopped for lunch and dined outside on their outdoor dining patio. The atmosphere was pleasant with umbrellas and tables far apart enough to give each customer space in between the tables. The food is always phenomenal. I had the Greek Rice Bowl which was a very large portion and a deep dish bowl. See the ingredients under the photo. I have plenty to take home for probably two more leftovers. The service was also stellar! My server, Cassandra, was very attentive, made wonderful suggestions when I asked her and was also very friendly, conversational, and a sweetheart. Ask for her! The prices are typical of that of a diner with excellent quality food. The Menu is large and diverse from Italian to Asian to American to BBQ choices. The dessert menu delightfully has a lot of choices and their prices are very good for dessert prices! Don’t pass on dessert for both the satisfaction and price! They also have special event nights, live bands, drink specials, seasonal and holiday specials, a bar and an inviting fireplace for the cooler weather. Ohhhh that wood burning smell is a perfect aroma and sensation on a cool day. Totally worth the visit for every aspect. It does get packed on the typical weekend evenings but go anyway if you don’t mind the crowd and the louder volume. Definitely quieter during lunch on weekdays and early/mid weeknights. Also best to go just before the dinner crowd on weekends if you can. They also stay open late for those night owls, date nights, friend meetups and sports fans! Very family friendly with a Kid’s Menu as well with separate dining rooms and as mentioned, outdoor patio. Holy Cow! Meander on down to The Barn Restaurant in Rockaway NJ!"

"This is a great hidden gem in Coal City. This easy to pass location offers quite a surprise once viewing the menu.the small but mighty location offers a ton of tantalizing and hearty selections. Obviously made from fresh ingredients, the food is delivered rather quick and hot. The side of onion rings were quite the interesting surprise to me. Everything in the location is photogenic and meticulously plated until you get to the rings. The simplicity on the plate gives you no hint to the crunchy delight you are about to have. I swear, you’ll sound like you are eating a bag of potato chips but once you get through the crispy and not greasy shell, the onion remains (insert another word for moist here— haha . The half pound multi-textured burger was super thick and loaded with the fresh mushrooms promised when ordering the cowboy burger. The chewy bacon and toasted bun added to the layers of flavors. The pork tenderloin sandwich was also a crispy hit, I’m told. I never veered from my burger to try the pork tenderloin sandwich across the table. I do have to mention that’s neighboring table ordered the Vesuvio and it looked amazing and she said it was better than it looked. Pepsi products are served and only one refill is allowed. The cute mason jars are on the larger size, so the limitations aren’t as scary as they seem. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

Mountain Mike's Pizza

"I ruined my son's birthday party. I placed an order for five pizzas to be delivered to Rockin Jump San Jose at 11:45, with the order submitted at 10:54. I made sure to include specific notes, including the venue name and the party details for the delivery. Unfortunately, the pizzas didn’t arrive until 12:00. When I called to check on the order, the representative I spoke with was difficult to understand and said he didn’t know where the delivery was supposed to go. After some time, I discovered that the pizzas had been delivered to the wrong location. The person on the phone acknowledged this mistake and mentioned something about his brother delivering the pizzas to a building where they were left outside of a door that had closed behind him. He didn’t provide any information about where this location was. He assured me that the pizzas would be redirected and arrive in 15 minutes, despite the fact that the correct location was only five minutes away. I repeated the delivery address multiple times, but he didn’t seem to acknowledge it. By 12:15, the pizzas were still missing. I called again and was informed by the driver that he was on his way with the pizzas, but he still didn’t confirm the correct address or provide any information on where the first batch had gone. I asked for the delivery driver's phone number so I could reach out directly, but I was told that they would pass my number along to him, and he would call me. However, no one ever called. They claimed several times that they had tried to contact me, but I received no calls at all, which felt like a lie after calling three times to check on my order. The pizzas finally arrived at 12:45, an hour late, after the venue had already closed for our party (our birthday celebration at Rockin Jump was scheduled from 10:45 to 12:45). This was, without a doubt, the worst service I have encountered in over a decade as a customer of Mountain Mike’s, particularly at the Sunnyvale and Palo Alto locations. We had 20 adults and 12 children present, including my son, who ended up without lunch. After this complete debacle, I called at 4 PM to request a refund. I was told they didn’t have access to the system and that I would need to call back on Monday at 5 PM to speak to a manager."
