"Someone recommended this place to us. I'm not too familiar with Rockford but if I'm ever back I will stop by this place. Service was awesome. Hostess sat us right away. Server was there a couple min later and she was great. Believe her name was Kendra. We got our drinks. Smoked old fashioned was good, a little sweeter than I make them but still good. The fries with truffle salt were wonderful. The pizza was fantastic. A nice change from the usual Midwest flat crust or deep dish. Crust was delicious, and fresh mozzarella. It's a 12 in pizza, I probably could have eaten it all but I was left with 2 slices and my wife ate half of hers. Made for a delicious breakfast the next morning."

"Having brunch at Anju on a Sunday was truly memorable; the food and service were exceptional. We kicked things off with dumplings and juk, then moved on to the famed chicken sandwich and the special French toast of the day, which was a chocolate moon pie flavor—a delightful surprise! Overall, considering the price, service, and experience, I would give it a rating of 4 out of 5. The only downside was that I noticed dust accumulating on several unused surfaces, like the thermostat and some decor. It seems like it's time for a thorough cleaning!"

"The chicken wings were a letdown; the batter and texture were inconsistent, with some parts of the chicken having barely any coating at all. The chicken itself was dry and lacked flavor without the sauce. We ordered a seafood pancake but were mistakenly sent a vegetable one instead. Instead of correcting the order, the owner just laughed it off, saying it was a "happy mistake" and that it was $6 cheaper. That wasn’t what we wanted at all. We also tried the chicken tacos, but they were flavorless and we weren’t expecting them to come with beans mixed in. Overall, I can't recommend this place. I’m usually very understanding and give fair reviews, but this experience was just not good, especially considering the high prices."

"This place was okay. Their flavors were kinda bland especially their sundubu-jjigae. It didn't have any taste to it other than spiciness and the hefty price tag made me feel like I was scammed. We were told we only had 1.5 hours to dine because they had a reservation after that, which was fine because we knew we would be gone by then. We finished eating with 25 minutes left, but our waiter took a long time to bring us back the bill to sign. Then the host came to our table"

"It was cold and we were craving hot soup and warm, homely dishes. We found Seong Buk Dong on Eater, and saw that they served authentic, traditional Korean fare. Noticed that they were one of the only korean restaurants that were recommended based on their classic korean dishes (most others specialised in kbbq). Just what we wanted. Unassuming from the outside, their soondubu (spicy tofu soup), bimbimbap and kimchi pancake really hit the spot. It was packed with flavour yet nourishing and comforting — easily one of the best meals I've had in LA. Not to mention, the staff were lovely ladies, who happily entertained our questions. If you're looking for a simple, fuss-free korean food experience, will highly recommend a visit."

"One of the best Korean barbecue restaurants I've ever been to! This recommendation comes from my Korean friend, so you know it's reliable. The cost is around $23 per person, which is definitely worth it. There are plenty of side dishes that keep coming, just like wine. The service is what you'd typically expect from Korean restaurants, with a bit of indifference, but the food more than makes up for it."

"The service at this restaurant was atrocious. The waitress seemed angry every time she approached our table. The food was poorly prepared, and the ingredients tasted stale. However, the worst part of the experience was the service; the waitress was extremely rude and almost slammed the plates down on our table. Even if she was having a rough day, it doesn’t excuse her unprofessional behavior. I do not recommend this place at all—the food and service are both unacceptable! I will never return!"
