"I enjoy BLK for its good food and fun atmosphere, along with a fantastic view of Huntington Beach. However, when it comes to noise, I wouldn’t describe it as energetic; it’s actually quite loud. It’s definitely not the ideal spot for a quiet, romantic dinner, especially since the bar is right next to the main dining area. We had trouble hearing our server and each other because it was a busy Saturday night, and the place was packed. Being locals, we understand the hustle and bustle, but one thing that really bothered me was a man smoking a cigar on the patio, just outside the dining room. With the doors open, the smoke drifted inside, making it impossible to escape the smell. I really don’t get why someone would choose to smoke a cigar near diners. I’m not sure what the restaurant's smoking policy is, but they were certainly too close to people enjoying their meals."
