"Hamburguesa, located at 403 Hackensack St. in Carlstadt, NJ, offers a burger called The Classica which includes meat, lettuce, tomato, jalapeno, mayo, ketchup, mustard, and yellow cheese. However, I was not impressed with The Classica burger. The menu descriptions only refer to the burgers as "meat," without specifying the type. The burger had a strong mustard flavor followed by a vinegary bite from the jalapeno, but I couldn't really taste the meat or bread. The meat itself seemed more like a meatloaf with a high proportion of breadcrumbs. It reminded me of Italian breadcrumbs with dry parsley. The burger is served as it appears in the photos and cannot be cooked to a specific temperature. While the abundance of lettuce was nice, the overwhelming mustard flavor made it taste like a mustard sandwich to me. At $9.60, I found it to be a bit expensive given the current burger competition in 2023. Overall, this burger may appeal to some, but it wasn't to my taste. I had a similar experience with a burger at Blue Star Burgers in Tenafly in 2013, which closed shortly after opening."
