"Of course, I had to try their chicken pad Thai as well. It was pretty good, but it was the sweetest I’ve ever had (though that's just a matter of personal preference). I also tried an unfiltered snake wine for the first time, and it was astonishingly better than the regular filtered variety. I can’t believe I hadn’t tried it before!
The restaurant was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night, about a quarter full with some passing traffic. I’d love to return on a Saturday night for comparison. The space is surprisingly large, with around 20-30 tables, plus several outdoor picnic tables, all of which are covered. The decor is lovely but not overly fancy, and the noise level was pleasantly quiet on my visit.
Parking can be a bit tricky, as there are only two spots in front for pickups, but there’s ample parking behind the restaurant—just turn onto 32nd Ave N, and it will be on your right. The waitstaff were very kind, the service was prompt and friendly, and they didn’t rush us at all; I ended up spending over an hour there after reading my book.
I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes, and I’ll make sure to share updates!"
