"This place had a really chill vibe. The white tables and blue metal chairs are somewhat cold by themselves, but the old brick wall, the mellow jazz, and the friendly, helpful staff made for a warm and relaxing environment. Food was simple yet really well made. Service was faster than expected, although our order of soup, salad and a breakfast sandwich was nothing complicated. The carrot-ginger soup was excellent, with a nice ginger kick to it. Baked goods looked awesome, although we didn't partake. Coffee was from Chris's, a high-volume local roaster, and was fresh and good. They seem to promote themselves as all natural, and it looks like they live up to the promise. All in all, we had a great experience. Definitely worth the extra block or two to check out Puzzles for yourself."
