"If I could give 0 stars I would this is the most insanitary place I have been too. First time hear water for cleaning dishes was very dirty and counters was stained. It was busy so I let it slide got a Reese layered sundae the wet topping area was disgusting looked like it was never clean and hot fudge all around the inside just like mold looking the marshmallow topping needed to be refilled the employee refilled it without cleaning it out or anything just puts it in and the top back on it was gross, even the frozen candy pieces had mold like around the container looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months!!! I wanted to let it go since it’s my first time here ate the ice cream but felt so sick after mind you I’m not lactose intolerant! The hot fudge tasted off and the marshmallow topping too. My second time back I waited 2 weeks came back to try again got a snickers layered sundae and a banana split again nothing had changed still mold like wet topping but this time was worse no gloves for the banana when touching?? Nor did I see anyone wear a glove when touching cones saw the dish water nasty again but employee was rinsing it off and dipped it in bleach water without proper cleaning scooping water was very dirty ice cream floating on top milkshake blender was dirty since last time I came it (mind you it had been 2 weeks since I came back) this location is the most dirtiest and unsanitary place I’ve ever been too got sick 2 times eating here never again! Only person I saw actually do good was the new black woman she actually looked like she was mad with me about how the worker was bad at cleaning and the only one I saw use a paper to touch a cone. That was my last time ever coming in!! I have worked and baskin robbins before and this is by far the worst ever I will be calling a health inspector!!"

"My wife pointed to the bananas and asked if they could not be mixed with the ice cream to make a shake. The employee simply said "NO" and had no response when asked about their Banana Smoothies on the menu board. When my wife tried to order a strawberry shake, she was told they were out of strawberry ice cream. She then settled for a vanilla shake. The transaction was completed with the employee handing over the shake with the lid half off and ice cream sloppily caked on both sides. There was no thank you or apology for the inconvenience. We will not be returning to this location and will be sharing our negative experience with others."

"This store has been a staple of palos verdes for as long as I can remember. So let 's take a look at how they perform , shall we? 1- ambiance To be honest, it 's a dump. It feels like it was built in 1970 and hasn 't been updated since then. There 's a worst for wear counter , a new menu board ..., but other aspects look so dated. I 've seen better electrical wiring in Hanoi. The back area seems like an electrical nightmare. How does the fire department allow this ? The tables inside seem like an afterthought, the tables outside are unstable and sticky. This is not a place that welcomes you to come in and enjoy a hot fudge Sunday. 2- ice cream It 's all scoops. No soft serve. And , Crikey, the price is eye watering. It 's a weird nostalgia thing that I like this place. But, honestly, your better value for a cone is at the thrifty just a few paces away. 3- service Savage boredom. That 's how I could best describe it. It seems like such a imposition on the staff for a customer to come in and order ice cream. Don 't they know that we are looking at our social feed !? is the vibe I get ... Finally- so why do I go. Nostalgia mainly. Stopping by ...spontaneously .... with my wife .... triggers amazing memories. We overcome all the **** service and enjoy. But, honestly , unless you have this same emotional connection.... Maybe better to steer away"

"My father and I came to try some egg shots and a double shot, and we immediately felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. CJ, Ashlyn, and Joey were all so friendly and worked together seamlessly to take our order. They were eager to help us and even thanked us for choosing to dine at their establishment. We truly felt like part of their restaurant family. This was one of the best customer service experiences we've ever had. Frauteresa is just as amazing as her staff. We can't wait to come back and enjoy some more treats from this place. We highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for delicious treats to try."

"My grandchildren and I went in this evening and had decent sized order. The employee (didn?t see a name tag) took his sweet time getting it to us. As we were sitting outside eating, the kids saw him drop a cup on the floor and his co-worker (a young lady)picked it up and placed it back in the stack. The three youngest needed to use the restroom and asked the young man if theycould use the restroom. He told them they could go out by the dumpster in the back. The young man was the thin young man. Allof the employees needed to wash their uniforms also. We will never return to this BR ever again after what we witnessed andexperienced."

"Furthermore, I ordered a large hazelnut iced coffee with cream and sugar, but it arrived without any sweetness. When I asked them to fix it, they questioned the label on the cup. I had to explain that no label was printed, which probably led to the confusion. Despite the errors, I was charged full price, and it took nearly 15 minutes for them to address the issues. It felt like my requests were more of a hassle for them. Overall, this experience left me dissatisfied, and I don't intend to return. There are other nearby restaurants that are much better managed, and I would recommend trying one of those instead."

"The service was good, as usual when I visit this restaurant. The food was decent, but I deducted a star because their hash browns are overly salty and somewhat spicy, if you will. I can't quite pinpoint it, but there's a slightly odd taste after just one bite. Everything else is fantastic though. Just be cautious in the parking lot as they tend to drive slowly and may not always see people walking between parked cars, particularly since the lot isn't very large."

"Extremely fast, Asian-style drive through services that you don't normally find in this area. Also the only 24 hour Dunkin Donut in the area. Good for grabbing some quick food before hitting the daily commute since it only takes you a couple of minutes. The only downside is the small parking lot with narrow roads. The north and south entrances can easily lead to drive through traffic jams. The north exit to Calumet Ave does not have traffic light or stop sign which makes it pretty difficult to merge in the major road during busy hours."

"Nothing good at this spot, sadly. Two major issues. First, it was pretty much impossible to communicate with the employee behind the counter. He didn 't seem familiar with the vocabulary for the flavors, sizes, or toppings, so we unfortunately had to resort to pointing at the flavors and toppings we wanted. Truth be told we stopped after the first two tries because it was clear we weren 't going to get what we wanted. Example conversation with staff: How many scoops? Just one please! Puts in scoop. More? No thank you. Puts in one more scoop. More? No... no thank you. Adds one more scoop. On top, the ice cream tasted really funky. There was a strange fruity flavor in the Reese 's Peanut Butter Cup, like you get in Halloween candy that you didn 't get around to eating until the following August. Not good. With so many Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins around, you should probably just avoid this one. Or just go to Big Gay Ice Cream, Mikey Likes It, or Mister Softee all much better options in the neighborhood."

"Stopped in to get a hot fudge sundae and was told that they don't have cups for Sunday's nor do they have any of the toppings so I switched to a mint chocolate chip waffle cone and once I left I realised that the mint chocolate chip they served me is completely freezer burned and inedible- worst experience at an ice cream shop ever."

"The main correction to this information is that this place is a Donkin Donuts and I don't see here any Basking-Robbins sign, so maybe Basking-Robbins is inside the Donkin Donuts. Good place for my smoothies and iced coffee. With tables inside to have a seat and enjoy your smoothie, milkshake or coffee. All spring and summer you can get a refreshing drink right here. I'm doing that also at China Town…being the best at China Town. For the natural fruit used for their flavors."

"Unreal! I ordered 4 items an hour ago on Uber eats. They had the Uber eats driver drive there and wait for nothing and after made the driver call me to tell me that they don’t have half my order. THEY COULD HAVE JUST CANCELLED IT without wasting my time and the Uber drivers time!!!! We called them and told the Indian guy that we could barely understand to cancel. They still didn’t cancel it after he said they would. Had to contact Uber eats customer service to cancel this. Totally incompetent people working at this joke of a place. Get a different job if you don’t know how to fulfill orders!"

"I was disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. As soon as I arrived, I encountered the staff standing outside the door smoking, which created an unpleasant atmosphere as I walked through the smoke both entering and exiting. One of the young male staff members appeared quite unkempt; he had dirty fingernails, wore open-toed shoes exposing grimy toes, and had on soiled clothing, along with a noticeable body odor. On the other hand, the older woman at the cash register was extremely kind and helpful. She was impeccably dressed and radiated a fresh, cheerful scent, just like her warm smile. If all the employees maintained her level of professionalism and hygiene, I would feel much more comfortable dining here. The thought of the uncleanliness of the staff who prepare the food is enough to make me reconsider returning."

"I wouldn't recommend this place. They seem to make their own hours. On a summer day, I found the doors closed at 8:30 PM, even though they indicated they usually close at 8 PM. Perhaps they closed earlier today because they were short-staffed; there were only three employees working. They refused to sell me a quart of ice cream because they only serve customers at the drive-thru during what are supposed to be their normal hours. I used to work at a Baskin Robbins in high school, and we often managed with just two employees during busy hours. If they decide to close early and blame staffing issues, you're out of luck, especially if you don’t drive. Just to reiterate, I arrived at 8:30 PM."

"What a terrible experience!! We pulled in around 9pm last Saturday. The lady on the mic asked what you want? I should say, i worked at a Baskin Robbins in my younger days for about 3 years, so i know the menu. I asked for 4 pretty classic flavors, they were either out of all or they didn 't carry. She kept basically screaming, what you want after each thing i named they were out of. She put of the vibe either she didn 't want to help me and my family or wasn 't capable. I kindly thanked her for her time, drove away and went elsewhere. I know these are franchised and have pretty clear guidelines to follow. FYI BR headquarters...this one is not a representation of who you are. I see there is another review with a very similar experience. Don 't waste your time or money at this location. Very disappointing will not be back!"

"The ice cream was just as delicious as ever. However, I've noticed that the portion sizes have decreased while the prices have gone up significantly. Even the take-home cartons are now quart-sized, whereas they used to be double that. The prices for the quarts aren't clearly posted, except for the "fresh packed" variety, which come in at a steep $9.99. At this rate, I think we'll start buying ice cream from the supermarket. "Had the banana split tonight after midnight the man at the register was rude and cared about being on his personal cell phone than to take care of us. He acted like we were bothering him just to order and he put very tiny scoops, barely any whip cream and heavy amounts of old stale peanuts, that was hard as a rock, overwhelmed the entire ice cream. When told him about it he acted like he didn't care and didn't offer to fix the issue. He just shrugged his shoulders and gave us an attitude. We also wanted to order a cappuccino blast but got tired of waiting for him and he definitely didn't care to serve us. So we walked and chuck it as a lost. Then a gentleman walk in and called for service. Repeating said hello many times but the guy totally ignored him. So that man just walked out the door. Horrible service and keep your money don't spend here. It old and stale anyways. What's the point of being open at night but have nothing available to buy? No sandwiches, no flatbread, no bagels, no donuts, no coffee, no fresh peanuts or fresh banana, no whip cream etcs the list is endless of what they don't have. Was very disappointed by my banana split.. Never revisiting and spending a penny here again."
