"We opted for a late lunch (1:30pm) on a Friday, to celebrate our 30+ yr wedding anniversary. We were able to enjoy more privacy (lunch crowd was gone), and there was significantly less noise (to hold a conversation). The timing was perfect, for us. The staff were very attentive, offered meal drink pairing suggestions and went above and beyond to ensure they recognized our anniversary. They provided a wedding anniversary card (signed by staff), table confetti, a single long stem red rose, two flutes of complimentary champagne and a small box of chocolate truffles!! The food was AMAZING: The Kale and Beet Salad, was fresh and flavorful. The combination of tender kale and roasted beets created a perfect balance of earthy and slightly sweet flavors. The addition of creamy goat cheese added a rich, tangy contrast, while the candied walnuts brought a delightful crunch and sweetness. The vinaigrette was light and refreshing, complementing the salad without overpowering the natural flavors of the other ingredients. It was the perfect starter, not too heavy, and left us feeling energized for the main course. The Fleming's Potatoes were baked to a golden perfection with a delicious crispy top layer. These indulgent, scalloped-style potatoes were layered with creamy, cheesy goodness that perfectly complemented our steak. The combination of cheddar and jalapeño provided a flavorful kick w/out being overpowering. The Cabernet Filet was a masterpiece. The 11oz filet was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The Cabernet demi-glace added a deep, rich flavor that elevated the steak to another level. What really stood out to us was how well the filet was seared on the outside, giving it a beautiful crust, while remaining perfectly medium-rare inside, just as we had ordered.
