"To say we were taken aback would be an understatement; it felt like we encountered a touch of ageism during our visit. Why else would the bartender seem so annoyed by our presence in his nearly empty bar on a Monday night? Perhaps he was simply eager for happy hour to end? That didn’t seem to be the case. When we left at 6:10, he just shrugged it off. It was such an impolite way to treat two enthusiastic potential contestants for a Golden Bachelor!"

"We had our first dinner at Christine’s last Thursday, and we will certainly be returning often. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our meal began with warm, freshly baked dinner rolls. Next, we enjoyed a fresh salad that was clearly made from scratch, unlike the pre-packaged ones served at some other restaurants. For our main courses, we had stuffed flounder with a baked potato and lamb chops accompanied by a vegetable medley. Both dishes were fantastic! We’re already looking forward to our next visit."

"We went out for breakfast to celebrate our anniversary and struck out at the first local institution pancake House we went to 10 minutes at a table and we didn't even get waters. So we headed for Victoria's, only it was noon by then so they were serving lunch. However when I asked the owner, she checked with the kitchen and they served us a perfect breakfast outside of their normal breakfast hours! Even ordering off menu, the service was quick and the food was great! They certainly saved our morning from starting off our anniversary poorly, we couldn't say thanks enough!! Only didn't do 5 stars because I reserve those for a higher end restaurant Victoria's is perfect for a regular, delicious meal!!"

"This is the best coffee shop and breakfast spot in the city! Make sure to arrive early, as it's very popular with the locals. They offer excellent espresso drinks and a delightful selection of breakfast items. The café uses a separate commercial coffee grinder and espresso grinder, ensuring consistently high-quality caffeine beverages. Their commercial-grade La Marzocco espresso machine produces the best caffe mochas! I highly recommend the Douglass Breakfast, which includes three eggs, speck, and roasted potatoes. I also loved their classic breakfast sandwich, featuring a croissant, egg, speck, and cheese."

"I ordered the House Ramen without any extras, and it arrived piping hot. The egg was cooked perfectly, and there was chashu along with some unexpected but delicious slices of a fatty cut of beef. The portion of meat was generous. They were open on a Saturday night when most other ramen places were closed, which was a plus. However, the broth and noodles were quite basic. Given the lack of description of the dish, I would have preferred to order from a fancier place, but I was still very satisfied with my meal. Overall, I recommend it!"

We got the pretzel sampler and some sandwiches, and while the sandwiches were great, the pretzel sampler had way too much sauce and not nearly enough pretzel. Personally, the food was not my type (it was good, I'm just not a “breakfast food” type of person), and it was a bit too loud for my comfort, but when the food took longer than expected the waitress offered us both complimentary drinks and I got the lovely coffee pictured!
