"I've been coming to Baringtons for years, especially for special occasions because eating is so good and the atmosphere is intimate. this week was the birthday of my wife and thought that was the perfect place to celebrate. we had a fairly late reservation of 8:30, which meant that it was a busy Thursday night for the restaurant. we sat immediately, but without greeting any type - a reason here is her table and menus. our server came by after a solid 10-12 minutes waiting and again, no introduction. she told us what was sold out and then disappeared. came back 5 minutes later and took our drink order one by one. I ordered wein, she went and got the wee; my man ordered a cocktail and then she went and got the cocktail, etc. stupid head? when we got our drinks together, it was 9 o'clock. the server asked for our order, but then disappeared again, only to come back and asked abruptly, delivered our food without seeing how the dings were. Note that the price point of baringtons is on the higher side, but our service was equivalent to an ihop. the hostess and the server had no professional ability to be in a restaurant this caliber. I'm sorry to say that I probably won't come back after years have come here."
