Business felt review was unfair as they were trying out new ideas from YouTube. Changed to 5 stars as per their request to support local business. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Had a disappointing experience tonight. Ordered a chirashi don through Uber Eats and usually received sashimi style slices of fish on rice. Instead, I received chopped fish with scrambled eggs. When I called, they explained it was part of a transition to AZN. Disappointed with the lack of assistance offered. Will not be ordering from them again as I can get better quality poke bowls for a lower price elsewhere. It's unfortunate to lose another option for decent quality sushi in the area."

"I had a terrible experience with the food at Ken's. The simple platter featured spring rolls that were undercooked and had a fishy taste, shrimp tempura that was greasy, and wings that tasted cheap and frozen, despite being labeled as wings. The teriyaki chicken tasted overwhelmingly of vinegar, and to make matters worse, there were no sauces included with the delivery. The triple delight dish was equally disappointing. I definitely will not be ordering from Ken's again."

"“Energetic” noise level means “LOUD”, but Open Table doesn’t have a choice for that... It’s loud in this place. Not because it was crowded, but because the decor is “live” with no sound baffles. There was a group of women at the next table cackling like sorority girls the whole time we were there. Not the restaurant’s fault, but annoying nonetheless when you’re out trying to have a date night with your love.. But everything else about this place is superb! Food is always good. They’re always accommodating. And the service we’ve had from every server has been outstanding and genuine. Located where it is, I’m surprised it wasn’t busy on a Saturday night at dinner time. A lot of people were eating outside, so maybe that’s why the inside seemed wide open. We come here a lot and enjoy it very much every time. We will be back again"

Eating was amazing that we had the imperial avocado the high rolling and lobster bomb. all were amazing. our waiter, tyler was even better, great attitude and very well looked after us. to meet the owner last night, he was very friendly and gracious. not the cheapest place in town, but you eat is so fresh and so it is worth it!"

"I have ordered the delivery for years from here, as it is not far from my house. although it says vegetarian, they are all vegan and use soy protein. they also have tofu dishes. it also has Japanese food so that they can also get miso suppe and veggie sushi. "The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti, how do you mess up something simple like salsa ??? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!"

"First time going here and the staff was very friendly. The sushi I ordered was fresh and very good. It was hard to pick though because the menu has a lot of options that sounded good. The service was very quick. The only thing that could be improved is the miso soup. Don't get me wrong but it didn't have much in it as far as tofu and what not. "After about 35 minutes we still did not get our sushi, the kitchen had a very big order ahead of us, unbeknown to us, so we started to get annoyed and then the manager arrived with some nibbles and an apology. Our food arrived 5 minutes after that and then he told us he took care of our entire bill! This was a really nice gesture on his part and the food was really good. We appreciate their customer service and we will definitely go back!"

"We made a reservation and apparently so did way too many other ppl. We had to wait min just to get seated and the hostesses seemed very unorganized. Once we say most things seemed worn out and dirty. The scan to order and menu was not working. Once we wondered drinks it took min to get them and we waited for appetizers for min. Our food then came out seconds later. The food was not their usual standard looks wise but it still tasted great. It was hard to enjoy when we just received our appetizers. Getting another drink even just a soda was a challenge. I normally order delivery from here and I may just stick to that or a different location. They seemed very unorganized and in need of more help and lots of deep cleaning"

"I should have read the reviews... my family went and the service was great first, then our server couldn't even tell us what came in our food. He had to go and get someone to help us. I asked for extra things in my food and I didn't even get it! "Tonight I tried Fusion Sushi located on PCH in Torrance. Despite my initial disappointment in the diameter size of my Sushi Rolls ? I realized that I should put aside my negativities and dive in. The food tasted absolutely amazing. Instead of six slices of sushi I was surprised to see there was actually eight slices. I purchased the Shrimp Roll ? that was pretty good and a Lobster Roll which I strongly recommend as it was bursting with flavor.However, I could not tell if it was Lobster or miniature Shrimps in place of it, lol. ?As for my drink, I think they could have given a more generous size of their yummy raspberry iced tea as it wasn't very big.Price was fairly reasonable and comparative to how delicious the meal was. My dinner tonight was fantastic and I'm most definitely going to return.4 Stars from me. If you're looking for a great local sushi spot and haven't stopped in yet, then you have to try them. Thank you to the friendly staff who were very nice to me. God bless you all and stay safe!"

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"My partner and I made reservations for Valentine's Day and were seated right away. We ordered starters, specifically the edamame and beef sashimi, both of which were delicious. For our main course, we chose two orders of the Rinderyakitori and Gohan, as well as the delightful roll (without the Tampa Bay sauce). Everything arrived promptly, except for the roll. I didn't think much of it since the restaurant was busy and we weren’t in a rush. When I inquired about the roll, the server assured me it would be out soon. Once we finished our meal, the manager came by, took our bill, and removed the roll from our order due to the delay, which we thought was very professional. We will definitely be returning!"

"The two hostesses were incredibly rude; this ruined our dining experience. When we walked up to the host stand, we informed the two hostesses that we had made reservations in advance using OpenTable. They VERY rudely told us our reservation was not in the computer, and I had to pull up the confirmation e-mail as proof of our reservation. Only then did they acknowledge our reservation and told us, Oh, I guess it has popped up on the screen. You all will have to just wait for a table. And wait we did (past our reserved time), despite taking the time to make reservations beforehand. The food was okay (we were underwhelmed with some rolls) and our waiter was very good. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by two very rude ladies"

"This place has some great sushi. On a Friday night it wasn't super busy so it was nice to be able to walk in to a seat. They have good music playing and the vibe is immaculate. We ordered a lot and lowkey I love the sushi tower that came out. Great cab sav and the sake selection is chefs kiss"
