"We have been here on two occasions and both times the food was remarkable. They have red wines that blow your mind for the price point and you can even take bottles home with you at a discount! We started with the cheese board which had an insanely good cheddar and buffalo mozzarella. Paired with the wines it was an exceptional start to the meal. I had the shrimp scampi which I honestly wanted to lick the plate clean while my date had a vegetable linguine type pasta dish. The decor is very nice and clean. Romantic and what you would expect for the price. The service was perfect. Yes we may have had to ask for another glass of wine, but that is so much nicer to just enjoy your company and ask when you want something than be interrupted every 5 minutes. A true hidden gem in Canton!"

"Machine is the finest dining experience I’ve experienced in Chicago. My partner and I went to celebrate our anniversary, and every member of the staff gave it their all! Every dish came with an introduction, every drink was a show in and of itself, and the on-site florist designed a lovely bouquet on the spot. Our favorite dish was the Octo Goddess, which had the most perfectly cooked octopus and delicious sauces. Their ginger-pear tart was truly delectable, and the Love Is a Fog was a lovely botanical drink with plenty of flair. We plan to go back soon!"

"Very disappointed. The appetizer was excellent, the short ribs were good, the duck was only one small leg. We had a terrible waiter that was not trained. Disappointing when in a fine restaurant the waiter has to read off a sheet how things are made. He was not trained well. And never offered dessert. Made for a pot evening.would not recommend."
