"As a person who still craves fish, the vegan fish here is what I've been searching for. I've had the brown sauce and sweet sour sauce. The fish has an amazing flavor and fry on it. Their lo mein and Singaporean noodles are wonderful but the Dan Dan noodles tastes funny to me. I wish more authentic noodles were used but I absolutely think the flavor is more important to get spot on so I'm happy. Definitely good to try. They're on doordash and the location is good with a donut shop next door that also offers vegan options!"

"This is our third time to dine at Red Rooster. We keep coming back because the food is so good. However, we always seem to forget how long it takes to get the food. Last Saturday we had a reservation at 6:30 and actually showed up 30 mins early. They were already ready for us so we were able to sit right down. Our server was nice. We got our drinks and appetizer in good time; however, it took 45 mins to get our main meal. We ordered it within 10 mins of sitting down. I even saw another table get up and leave because their meal was taking so long. With that being said every thing we ordered was delicious. They just need to get the timing of the meals better. I marked that I would not recommend but I would as long as someone is willing to wait 45 mins to get their meal."

"The two stars was because the cashier was polite through all of this, otherwise it would have been a one star. I would not recommend coming here and if you do. Do not order anything fried. When I stayed in San Diego years ago I loved this place but the food has truly gone down hill since then especially to be so expensive. I came for a visit today and ordered three whole wings fired crispy to go.When I got to my hotel I opened up my food to eat my chicken and there was so much grease inside the chicken, the skin was fried but the meet was slimy. This is usually a sign that chicken is fried to fast or bad spoiled chicken has been fried from what someone had told me who owns a restaurant. I went back into the restaurant with my food and told the cashier and asked for chicken fingers instead and she told me that they do not take food back once it has left the building. I told her I never heard that before and that is odd because how would a person know something is wrong with their to go order unless they got home and started to eat it? She understood what I was saying and went to ask her manager after I politely insisted that my order was not eatable . She came back and said that the manager said they will only swop the three wings for another batch but not anything else. I had no choice so I had to agree. I did not want wings again bc if they messed them up the first time then my thought was they would do it again. They did mess them up again and it was the same issue, the outside was crispy but the inside extremely slimy and field with grease. I just threw them away and lost my money bc they did not want to allow me to change my order."

"UPDATE: My rating went down from 5 to 1 only because of rude server/cashier during my recent visit. My old review was, ?One of the best place for awesome Korean fried chickens.? But now, I say that food never taste good when the service is poor. I went again and asked for a draft beer and lunch combo. Since I am having a beer, I requested if I can switch free beverage with a tiny bowl salad? After a few conversations here and there, she said she has been working for 2 years and never had this kind of request. Who says this to a customer???? I was shocked and asked her to go ahead with my usual order. Completely ruined my mood to have a good beer and lunch even the though she did give me a salad bowl. I really wanted to tell her that I have been coming here for more than 5 years and never has been the server this rude. Past servers were all very welcoming and even say thank you at the time of exiting. Don?t expect anything now. I have even brought my family and friends here in the past. No more. They lost a regular customer. There are better places to eat with more welcoming servers. Avoid it if good service is one that you always seek for. Bottom line: What good a food is when it ruins your mood."

"I ordered the sweet and sour pork lunch special using their online ordering and asked to substitute rice for more pork. i got a single plate of sweet and sour pork and nothing else that was supposed to come with the lunch special like chow mein. im not sure if this was something on my end or their end, but either way ill be taking it as is next time. never had this problem before and ive had this substitution done while eating in restaurant before so im not sure how this happened. otherwise it was very good."

"I'm a guest from the city and the family brought me to the cream. I've never been there and I had no idea what I wanted. They make ice differently from home. I wish I had the name of my wife. She was so patient with me. Even if there was a really long line on Father's Day, she never showed signs of frustration with me, which was really appreciated. Then the ice was CREAMY. It wasn't what I expected, but if I'm back in town, I'm sure I'll order again!"

"I love going to this restaurant for delicious Vietnamese dishes such as spring rolls, curry, and udon soup. But the best part is their amazing desserts, especially their strawberry cheesecake, Oreo cheesecake, and pandan cake. The staff is incredibly friendly and treats us like family; they even provided water and treats for our dog when we brought him along."

"I decided to check out this place across AMC and honestly it was terrible beware! I ordered the chicken wings which were questionable and the sauce was clear which overall I was thinking did the chicken get freezer burned and they fried it hoping it would turn out okay. Then I got shrimp dumplings and that's when I told the server for a refund because even my boyfriend said it smelled bad. I took a little bite of the dumplings and I think they were also freezer burned. The server told me no one has complained about them. I was like thinking well that's great but it still sucks m. Very terrible customer service any other place would not have charged me for an item at least. Also fortune cookies were stale. I should have known this was a bad idea because they have a mess in the back of their restaurant. I wouldn't have thought that was the case because whenever I had walked by it looked busy with people. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would just stick to the food court upstairs. I would give them no stars if I could."

"This is a fantastic spot for delicious Thai cuisine! The duck soup is an absolute must-try; I loved it! The duck is incredibly flavorful. I would love to see more duck options on the menu – even the Pad Thai should feature duck. I also tried the crispy noodles with chicken, although it didn’t have enough chicken for my taste; however, I enjoyed the flavor. The lemonade, unfortunately, wasn’t fresh and had a strange aftertaste. Despite that, the food was amazing, and I plan to return – just without the lemonade! I can't wait to explore more of the menu."

"Lets start by saying that I am not a person who does reviews let alone complain about any food that I buy but in this case I was really bothered by the quality of the food and the customer service. I decided to get takeout from Moon Thai. Mind you I hadn’t been been there in quite some time but of all the times I went I have never received food that was this awful. I was so mad to receive food that was absolutely inedible. Anyone who knows me, knows that I rarely throw any food away and in this case I absolutely had to. The green curry that I received did not even resemble green curry. I don’t know what they were serving but it was horrible. I called to talk to the manager to complain instead of writing reviews and they promised me that a manger would call me and they never called. That is unprofessional on so many levels. I think you get the gist. I absolutely don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"Happy Hooligans was my husbands favorite vegan restaurant in the San Jose area for a few years. He used to eat there weekly. When he first moved to the area in 2016, he went about 12 times in 2 weeks because he loved it so much. I’d been once before in 2018 and thought it was alright. We just went in recently since we were in the area and my husband was so excited for Happy Hooligans. We ordered Buffalo cauliflower bites, Buffalo Chik’n BLT (with bbq instead of Buffalo) and the Lennon burger. The Buffalo cauliflower bites arrived first and we were so disappointed. As soon as we opened the box the strong smell of the vinegar from the Louisiana hot sauce was stinging. The bites were soggy and waaaay over drenched in the Buffalo sauce which made it so incredibly vinegar-y. They did not look like the photo we had seen advertised on their ig. My Lennon burger...The patty on this was disappointing. Tasted frozen not freshly made. It tasted like a super basic soy patty and wasn’t seasoned at all. The house made thousand island dressing was bland. The cheese sauce was bland. The ice burg lettuce wasn’t crunchy and felt limp. The bun was squashed and looked like someone had sat on it. Even the ranch dressing for the salad was bland. No taste of seasoning or herbs. Tasted like milk or heavily watered down mayo.Every element was disappointing. It was bland overall and probably one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. My husband said his BBQ Chik’n BLT was okay because of the BBQ sauce. He loves BBQ sauce, so the sauce made it tasty. He said if it would’ve come drenched in the Buffalo sauce like the cauliflower bites that would’ve been awful. He was saddened that its not the same as he remembered. I will say that it was busy with lots of phone call orders and people coming in to pick up but that shouldn’t exactly excuse sending food out that isn’t up to par. I don’t think there was an expediter quality checking food before packing it up and sending it out because it was so busy which is an unfortunate mistake because then maybe our food could’ve been corrected. When people pay to eat out they typically think they’ll be getting something better tasting and better quality than what they can make at home. With so many great reviews, I like to hope that the experience we had doesn’t typically happen. I’m not trying to dissuade people from coming here just hope they’ll improve quality when busy so future paying customers don’t have this experience. Updated from previous review on 2021-04-22"

"The food was satisfactory. I sampled the fried gizzards, but they were mostly batter. The Kimchi Ramen was okay. The fried chicken was enjoyable, although I found the garlic chicken to be more flavorful than the original. The service was a bit slow since there was only one person on staff."
