"This restaurant is a gem! From the pomegranate martini taster to begin the experience, I knew we were in for a special evening. This was followed by an amuse bouche of house made potato chips served with onion dip topped with caviar. I ordered the French onion soup to start our meal. The base was perfectly seasoned with the proper amount of onions. For our entrees, my wife enjoyed the salmon, while I dined on the veal chop with sweetbreads. I am not a sweetbreads guy, however, I did try them. Of our entrees, the veal chop was the most outstanding. For sides, we ordered the spinach, and the mushrooms. Both were exceptional interpretations of those items. Maple Ash has been around for eight years, and it is just around the corner from tourist trap, Gibsons. If you can only go to one of these steak heavy houses, do Maple Ash! The ambience, service, total experience will blow you away. I promise!"
