"loves this restaurant. everything is good and especially love their steaks. one of the best steak restaurants in atlanta. it also has excellent employees. Today I had an incredible experience that was a “first”. the bartender, david, has forced my drink for a review on open table. what an incredible thing! I remember this review because it was my first time to eat the bar and the experience was excellent and unforgettable and he had a lot to do with it. Today we had a new server, alex, who had been there 4 months. I was impressed by his follow-up and his care. he has the depth of a well-proven master server. everything was delicious, but I wish I hadn't shared the cognac shrimp. next time I get my own. it's so amazing."

"Our group opted for a family-style experience and ordered three appetizers, four entrées, and one dessert, which turned out to be the perfect amount of food for three very hungry individuals. Every dish we tried was delightful, featuring perfectly balanced combinations of ingredients (take a look at the detailed photos and captions). The cocktail menu is particularly intriguing, offering creative twists on classic drinks alongside the originals. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The only aspect that held this back from being a 5-star rating was the service, though it certainly wasn’t the waiter’s fault. The restaurant appeared to be somewhat under-staffed, with only one waiter handling the entire main dining area throughout most of our visit. While the service was commendable, he simply didn’t have enough time to attend to each table, which led us to be asked to place all our appetizer orders at once."

"excellent service as always from our waiter. the place is very loud around 19 clock, so they plan accordingly if they want to eat a quieter evening. the fries and duck cups were perfectly cooked. the cale salate was very good. but the carrot part was sculpted for the money. my friend enjoyed their muddles, and you guys really like his skallops. the tacos weren't as good as last time. go to this restaurant. with taking the carrots are their prices fair and their happy hour is a beautiful feature."

"Prices are typical of a fine dining restaurant very high; but without knowing the quality/background of the people that prepare the food (ex., cooks versus bonafide formally trained chefs) I couldn 't say if the prices charged were worth it. The food was very good, although, the prime rib one person in our party of 4 seemed to be cooked 'rare ' instead of 'medium ' as he had ordered it. Beautiful location and views, though, and very good service. Parking: Parking is in the hillside along a steep driveway with two parking lots at different levels, so be prepared for that. The parking lots are also not level. I didn 't look close enough to determine if it was wheelchair accessible, so I would recommend calling the restaurant first. If it is and the top lot is full, you should drop off people with limited mobility first, then go find parking in the lower lot. I 'm assuming there 's enough parking for the maximum occupancy of the restaurant."

"We have visited this restaurant before and are big fans of Laundry's property and Mr. Tillman Fertitta! The food is excellent, the wine list is great, the waterfront view is spectacular, and the service from Jerman is fantastic. We started with a bottle of Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay for my partner and I, and a couple of beers and Prosecco for our friends. The Shrimp mango stack, which used to be crab, was a delicious chilled appetizer served with fresh fried taro chips. For our main course, we all ordered the Prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes, button mushrooms, and creamed spinach on the side. The prime rib was juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked to medium rare. Our sides were delicious and paired well with the main dish. The view of the water was beautiful, the service was smooth, the ambiance was fantastic, and the drinks were cold. It wasn't too busy since it's the off season for us Floridians. We will definitely be returning!"

"Went twice within 4 days for the amazing Callahan prime rib. It did not disappoint! Mashed potatoes left a lot to be desired so I had to order a side of fingerling potatoes. (My server said that they didn?t sell baked potatoes at this location which was very unusual for steakhouse). No seasoning on those potatoes so I had to take the sauce from the asparagus and pour it on my potatoes for some flavor! The asparagus was delectable by the way. Happy about the bread coming out warm. They did not have the butterfly effect drink that I came for, so that was disappointing. It was absolutely freezing where we were because we were seated directly under one of the vents. That?s the price we paid for having a great window seat. The food got cold very quickly and it was uncomfortable for us to dine and take our time. Great server on the first night at the bar, but the Server on our second trip was either tired or shy. She finally warmed up to us by the end of the meal. All the other servers were upbeat and friendly to their customers. Beautiful decor and atmosphere otherwise. The sage and ginger drink was tasty but you pay a reduced price for refills."

"I've visited this restaurant many times, and I finally decided to write a review. The meals are consistently delicious, and the service is almost always excellent. The drinks, food, and desserts are all fantastic. Don't miss the calamari and the incredible lava cake! The only downside I can mention is that I often have to park in the back row when I drive my own vehicle (which isn’t always the case). I prefer not to let anyone else drive my car, and I feel that as a loyal customer who regularly spends about $200 per visit, I shouldn't be treated any differently. Nevertheless, it’s still an amazing place to eat with stunning views of the water."

"Just delightful. We were at a table right by the windows with a beautiful view of the river. Our server was bright, cheerful, friendly, patient, and attentive. The food was superb. Maple miso salmon, chimichurri steak, prime rib, and seafood 'pot pie ' (sans pot) were just fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly. The flavors of each dish were spot on, from the maple glaze counterpoint to the salmon, to the spice of the chimichurri sauce, to the sweeter flavors of the pot pie. Nothing bland, or overly spicey, or out of balance. Even the cocktail sauce for the shrimp cocktail was fantastic, as were the shrimp beignets. The location right on riverboat row is ideal, easy to reach, and has a private parking lot just for the restaurant. Whether you 're a local looking for an elegant night out, or a traveler staying at one of the nearby hotels, you 'll be sure to enjoy your meal!"

"There was construction happening in front of the restaurant so we couldn't park in the parking lot and had to park in a garage and walk. When we finally got to the front entrance of the restaurant one of the hostesses was out front arguing with some woman over parking. We uncomfortably walked between them to enter the restaurant and while at the front desk and speaking to the other hostess to check in this other hostess came back into the restaurant loudly complaining, basically screaming, about the woman out front and was making disparaging remarks about the woman's appearance. No one ever acknowledged that we were standing there or apologized for all of the craziness. The calm hostess finally took us to our seat and we waited at least 10 minutes for our waitress to come ask what type of water we wanted and then another 5 mins to get our water. The restaurant was pretty empty at the time so I'm not sure why there was a wait. The food was nothing to write home about. The sweet and spicy shrimp appetizer was about the only thing I'd get again. The restaurant needs a make over and the staff need to be retrained. For all the money and hassle to just get into this restaurant I was not at all impressed and will not be back."

The fixed price menu for Restaurant Week was enjoyed by my guest (pistachio crusted lamb chops) and the seasonal salad of kale shaved brussels sprouts was a tasty salad that I enjoyed. "We started with a bottle of wine while Erin kept the conversation light and enjoyable. For our appetizer, we ordered mushroom bruschetta, which was delicious. Then, for our salads, I had the Caesar with generous pieces of cheese, while my husband enjoyed the kale salad with butternut squash. He absolutely devoured his dish and described it as a scrumptious salad—I managed to snap a picture just in time! For the main courses, I had Chilean bass and my husband chose mahi-mahi. We both agreed we had ordered quite a lot of food, and as a result, about 70% of my entrée is now waiting in the fridge for dinner tonight. For dessert, I had the mud cake, which was delightfully indulgent, while my husband had the pecan pie. Everything was excellent. "The crab cake appetizer is absolutely delicious—it's pure crab with no filler at all. Our party of seven tried various dishes, and everything was impressive: the swordfish, scallops, Ahi, and poke were all excellent. We began with two salads, the Caesar and a lettuce salad, which were perfect for satisfying our cravings for greens without making us too full. "This was my first experience at the Chart House and it didn't disappoint. This particular location is nestled right along the bluff in Dana Point, and it's extremely popular. I would recommend reservations every time. Valet parking is the only optionat the restaurant, although you can opt to find parking on the street and walk in. The area does become increasingly windyduring certain times, so beware if you choose to walk a distance. The food was excellent, service was great and the cocktailswere tasty. The king crab legs were perfect. Make sure to ask for pre-cracking to make it a stress-free meal. I highlyrecommend their key lime cheesecake for dessert (if you have room)."

"This was the worst dining experience I have ever had in New York. We arrived at 7:00 and asked our waitress if we could quickly get two burgers before our show at 8:00 down the street. She assured us it would be no problem, but then took over 10 minutes to come to our table. We placed our order for two burgers and two cokes, a simple order, but never saw her again. By 7:50, I had to approach the hostess to request our food to-go so we could eat it on the way to the show. Our burgers were already prepared and sitting by the kitchen window, but our waitress was nowhere to be found. At 7:54, our food was brought out on plates, and I had to go inside once more to ask for my credit card and to-go boxes, as our show was about to start. Another waitress eventually brought me my credit card so we could leave, but the restaurant charged us over $50 for food we didn't even get to eat. We ended up having to run down the street to make it to our show on time. There are countless amazing dining options in New York, so I suggest avoiding this place to save yourself time and money."

"The experience was not as nice as one would hope. Sat at nice booth in a great spot. As we ate, the shrimp and scallops were very good. The paneed chicken was also cooked well. The waitress was kind. It was a bit disappointing to be asked if there is anything else we needed (not by the waitress, but possibly the hostess) and then told that they had other reservations that needed to be seated so we were asked to leave since we were done. We were in a conversation and other tables before us were still there. Being a table of color, we were dressef nice and to be veterans and be treated that way is a bad look on the restaurant. (Failed to mention), I did say something to the possibly, male manager upfront in a suite and he didn't say much. Hopefully this will improve in the future."

"We have been going to the Tower of the Americas for our anniversary celebration every year since Once Landry took over the restaurant, the food has been going downhill. Admittedly, the main reason for our dining is the ambiance of the experience. The view is spectacular. This year, our Anniversary, we once again went to the Tower and Charthouse restaurant. Ever since Landrys took over the food has been sub par but we took the chance again this year. Suffice it to say, for a parking fee, a tasteless fried shrimp with noodle entree and an ABSOLUTELY RAW New York strip priced at a chopped salad at and a Ceaser salad at after years we will not be going back ever again. To add insult to injury, as per our custom over the last years we wanted to go to the observation deck to celebrate where I asked my wife to marry me back in To my surprise, after years and spending on a dinner, we were informed that it would be an ADDITIONAL EACH to go to the observation deck. We were NEVER informed of this ridiculous charge beforehand…bear in mind, we had already paid to park and eat. We were one story below the observation deck. But we were told that unless we paid an additional each we were not allowed to go up. Our anniversary dinner was ruined due to the greed of Charthouse. The food was horrible…in fact inedible. I did call and leave a message for the general manager of the Charthouse to attempt to address our concerns but of course I never received a return call. After years, we will NEVER EVER return to this disgrace of a restaurant. The owners and managers of this atrocity should be ashamed of themselves. If you detect that I am angry you are correct…the one night a year that my wife and I splurge on a dinner for our anniversary was completely ruined by the inedible food and greedy proprietors. We will NEVER go to this restaurant EVER AGAIN. Beware….dine here at your peril."
