"I recently visited this restaurant in South Virginia and found that the food quality has noticeably declined since its closure. During my last visit, I ordered pad thai with tofu, specifying no fish sauce or eggs. The server confirmed if I wanted it vegan and I agreed. However, the pad thai turned out extremely sweet, almost like straight sugar. After sending it back and receiving a second plate just as bad, the third plate was slightly better but still not what I had ordered before. The server mentioned that there may have been a misunderstanding with the chef, who mistakenly thought vegan meant adding sugar. Despite my repeated request for no eggs or fish sauce, this error in preparation occurred multiple times. I was disappointed with the inconsistency in the dish and will not be returning, especially considering there are other Thai restaurants in Reno that better understand vegan preferences."
