"The OLD BAIT and SWITCH!!!!Went there for lunch and saw they had a decent happy hour. I have a group of 10 to 12 people that meets for happy hour once a week so I decided to give it a try. I was told that they had regular and large beers that were $2 off during Happy hour, from 4 PM to 6 PM, so I guided my group to this location. When we arrived for Happy Hour, I was told they changed the menu and no longer had big beers, according to the waitress, which they considered an English pint according to their menu. I said ok and ordered a regular pint, which should have been considered their small, according to their menu. When the bill came, there was obviously a discrepancy. I was charged what should have been the regular price for a large beer during happy hour. The manager came over and said a regular pint was considered a big beer, even though they had English pints, which the waitress said they did not. I explained to the manager that it was false advertisement and he agreed how I could see that but other than that, did not seem to care. TOURIST TRAP!!!!Nevertheless, I paid my check and left the waitress a more than fair tip, even though they pulled the old bait and switch. My bill ended up being $56.29, when it should have been at least $20 cheaper, according to their advertised Happy Hour.At the end of day, it's not about the money, it's the principle. I am tired of people trying to take advantage of us, just because they think they can.I will never step foot in the place again, due to their dishonesty. I will continue to go to my regular happy hour spot, which is Kelly's Craft Bar and Tavern. They always take care of me and my group."

"If I could put 0 stars I would! My friends and I always support Providence Social and we loved the bottomless mimosa option. However we came here for a birthday celebration and this is what we were served. We asked the waitress is this how the food is suppose to look after waiting a hour for our food and she said yes our food just looks like that (I 'm really upset I didn 't get a picture of the burnt waffle). As stated above my friends and I have came here PLENTY of times and we were NEVER this disappointed! We asked to speak to the manager and the waitress came back and said she 's too busy to speak to y 'all right now so either you can wait for her or pay for your food with 25% off . We said we would wait for the manager because we wanted to show her how our food looked. The waitress then aggressively started to pile all of our food up and took it to the back, she then returned with separate checks. The manager never came to the back to speak with us so one person from our party went to the front to speak with the manager and she was rude and belligerent. We were asking to just pay for our drinks since no one ate and our food was taken away from us aggressively by staff. The manager was getting aggressive which cause us to react the same way we requested the police be called and the staff was being very rude so we all stepped outside to wait for the police! While outside we were approached by the manager and some by standers aggressively they were taking pictures and yelling at us and the cops haven 't arrived! Majority of the party pulled out of the parking lot and went around the corner to wait for the cops to come to prevent further conflict. One person from the party stayed back to let us know when the police came. Once the police came the person from the party who stayed back spoke to the police and they were very understanding. We all then came back one couple at a time to prevent conflict and paid our bill with the police there. A little compassion goes a long way and you lost so many customers and blessings from this one encounter. I truly hope you learn from this and even if you are short staffed that doesn 't mean take your frustrations out on your customers. You could have politely denied our reservations and we would 've went elsewhere! I wish you the best of luck with your business!"

"I 'm a complete and utter fan for Ballast Point 's Victory at Sea. So of course, I head over for their Victory at Sea day, which did not disappoint. Having the different brew variations of Victory at Sea was outstanding. Not our first time at Ballast Point, so we went in with the usual expectations. Showing up early, our table wasn 't ready, which was fine hostess said she 'd try to fit us in early; but couldn 't guarantee anything. We understood. Ordered fries at the bar while waiting great; but my 4oz pour never showed up. I had to ask our server when we were eventually seated to see if she could locate my lost short pour she promptly came back, not only with the recovered pour, but with the flight of Victory at Sea I ordered. Faith restored. Not the servers fault, and she was very up front which we absolutely appreciated but many things many being at least half a dozen on the menu that weren 't available, including the seasonal dish that my better half had her heart set on when she saw it on the menu as we sat down. Ordered fish tacos x3 and the quinoa wrap which in true Ballast Point fashion was very good, and complimented the brews well. It was a small shame on the menu retractions, but I 'd imagine it was due to staffing issues ? . We ended up leaving satisfied, just slightly disappointed it wasn 't the usual par for the course at Ballast Point. We 'll of course be back, with the hopeful expectation of a fuller menu and no lost beer . All good, Ballast Point keep brewin '!"
