"Stumbled upon this place driving back from Hana and I’m so glad we did. Atmosphere feels upscale but inviting even to us smelly travelers after hiking the Pipiwai trail. The kanpachi was the best dish we’ve had while visiting Hawaii. The entire dish was incredible. This dish was perfectly balanced both with flavor texture. The soft sweet ube potatoes complemented the soft perfectly cooked fish while juxtaposing the crunch of the Thai ginger carrot. The balance of sweet spicy was pronounced between ginger and Serrano peppers. As an up coming restaurant Cafe Mambo has so much promise and potential for being a shining star of not only Paia town but Maui island."

"Wow, where do I start. I rented the downstairs private club for My Wife’s 30th birthday. Talal Zaiter the owner was absolutely amazing to me and my guests. He was there from the beginning to the end and continuously was asking me what he could do to make the night even better than it was. The food that I ordered was amazing and the service I received was top notch. I am very happy that I chose this location for such a monumental moment in my wife’s life. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will for sure be back for dinner. When I throw another event and I want it to be perfect I will be calling Talal back�"

"Today for lunch my friends and I from work decided to check out 317 Main Street . It's a huge place located in the heart of Farmingdale town. From the moment we walked in I was genuinely impressed with the restaurant. We arrived at 11:45 and were promptly met at the door by the hostess who explained they don't serve until 12:00. She would be more than happy to put us at a table but just wanted to give us a heads up. My friend Frank had been there a few times and said while we wait we might as well go check out the marketplace. Behind the restaurant behind an area they call 317 stage there is a room maybe 40 by 20 filled with the most beautiful desserts I have seen in such a long time. I took a few pictures and each dessert looked better than the next. The four of us went back to the table and sat down for lunch. We started off ordering an appetizer of buffalo dip. It came with fresh fried potato chips and a a pot of buffalo dip. The chips were great. One of the guys that I was with ordered five onion french onion soup. It is served in the hollowed out large onion which was a cool touch. Each of us ordered burgers. 2 of them ordered the monster burger. It's HUGE. itt was 2 large patties and and chorizo. It was one of the largest burgers I've ever seen. My friend's Burger came out with bacon on it which it wasn't supposed to have and when he asked the server for the chorizo that was missing she ran off and got it immediately. There must have been some confusion on the ticket and thought he wanted bacon instead of chorizo My friend and I ordered the burger special of the week. It was a single burger with arugula blue cheese and get this blueberry jam. The combination does not sound good I know but the waitress we had said to trust her it was really good. Well I did trust her and it wasn't good it was amazing. A lot of people do not like to mix sweet and savory together but I am not one of those people. The blueberry added just enough sweetness to make this"

"This restaurant is fantastic! The atmosphere both inside and outside is very inviting. Inside, the decor is beautiful, and they have games to keep the kids entertained. We chose to sit outside because the weather was lovely, and the outdoor decor is just as impressive as the interior. The menu is accessible via a barcode, which you scan to order and pay. The tacos are absolutely delicious, but be prepared for a bit of spice – the food can be quite flavorful! You can customize your order if you'd like something milder, but if you enjoy a kick, this is the perfect spot for you. I especially loved the ceviche; it was incredibly fresh, and the chili-calamari taco was my favorite, alongside the pork belly topped with pickled red onions. "My husband and I went to eat at the Chelsea Station Restaurant bar lounge for lunch today and it was amazing. I don’t eat bacon much but their bacon was on point. We ordered an appetizer, the Bacon Eggs- four hard boiled eggs stuffed with blue cheese thick candied bacon with bourbon maple dipping sauce. My hubby ordered a House Cubano- it had pork belly, pulled pork bacon with Swiss cheese on a toasted bread and sweet potato fries to go with it. I ordered the Station Burger- toasted brioche with beefsteak, tomato, thick bacon, aged cheddar and leaf lettuce with onion rings on the side. This was the best burger I have ever had and the appetizer was delicious! Than the waiter asked if we wanted dessert and I was unsure, since my hubby already bakes, but I said ok let’s order a Butterscotch Dulce de Leche. The waiter whose name is Arjune was polite, very nice and on point. He was totally amazing. I highly recommend this place, come by and try it out, You won’t regret it."

"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch menu (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. The environment is wonderful - brick walls and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommended!!"

"My fiancé and I drove an hour and a half to try the beef Wellington after hearing all the great reviews. We usually share our meals, and we did this time too, but I can't stop thinking about how much I wanted to order another one! The atmosphere was very inviting and the service was outstanding. We're planning to return this weekend, and this time I want one all to myself. The only thing I thought could improve the experience was some music, but overall, it was definitely worth it!"

"Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two big strips of bacon. Overall the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was between fair and good. Might give them another shot, but wouldn't rush back."

"The measure of a great cafe is how they handle customers when the experience is NOT perfect. We were there for lunch on Oct 31, and in the middle of service, the building lost power. Not perfect, but the staff and owner remained jovial, comped a couple drinks, made cracks about the power company at least letting us finish Bill Ted before cutting the electric, etc. The food is marvelous (when it can be cooked in a lit kitchen), but the atmosphere and service is 100% why I keep coming back."

"Stopped in last night for a quick bite. Were told it was happy hour so $2 beers! Lots of beer selections, but we found none of the beer was cold. When we tried to order a specific microbrew that was listed we were told that that keg isn 't tapped yet with no offer to actually get us the beer. Wife asked if perhaps the bottle she 'd gotten might have just been put in the fridge and asked if there was a beer that might actually be cold. Our server just shrugged and said 'They all like that . So we start off with warm beer. Then we get our Oysters as an app, which had a really, really good flavor. But they were cold (fried oysters), so an otherwise very good appetizer was not very good at all. Beers sat empty, had to flag the waitress down to order another, and then was 10-15 minutes before they came out. She was friendly, but just not very good at her job. Meatballs didn 't have a lot of flavor, wings were decent, the prime rib dip was ok, fries were pretty good. None of it was especially hot, but unlike the oysters, most of it was at least warm. All in all the service was poor, food was very mediocre, and our tab for what was listed above (4 beers at $2 each, three appetizers, a sandwich, and two glasses of wine) was $80. Will not be back. Expensive, food was not good, beer was warm, service was poor."

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"The host was extremely rude on the phone, consistently grunting and speaking negatively to me. Eventually, he pretended the phone connection was lost and couldn't hear me. I will not be ordering from here again due to the disrespectful behavior. Additionally, charging $8 for a side of spicy mayo is outrageous. It seems like YAMA is trying to take advantage of its customers. It is concerning that the shrimp tempura roll costs more than the toro roll. This is a major red flag."
