"I asked the nice young couple sitting next to us what they were eating. She said the chicken carver wrap was very good. He was having a really good beef and lamb gyro and said the restaurant got their gyro meat from a place in town, the best around Perrysburg. So I opted for the Gyro with hand cut fries. The gyro was served in a pita, rolled and wrapped in foil to keep all those wonderful tasty bits from falling out. As promised, it was delicious. The hand cut fries and sweet potato tots were overly cooked. I had small pieces of fries that looked like broken chips from the bottom of the bag. I dressed the fries with malt vinegar and dipped them in the homemade ketchup tangy and sweet. The onion rings were cooked perfectly and had a great crunch. Seasoning could have been a great addition to give it a thumbs up. The plain American hotdog on a grilled bun didn't get my motor running although my sister enjoyed it. The grilled cheese my aunt got looked good and she enjoyed eating with her Michelob Ultra and her tots. The womens restroom was clean, bright, beautifully painted and equipped with a high seated toilet and electric eye accessories. See pics. There aren't many seats inside but do offer an outside patio. Parking is more difficult, only 4 spaces in front and competing businesses on either side. Plenty of bar seating with comfy chairs and backs."

"Went to Wheelhouse on the Saturday night of Valentine's day weekend. We showed up about 10 minutes before our reservation but were seated immediately. The restaurant was very full, but service was still very fast, friendly, and professional. My girlfriend and I dressed up, and in a button up shirt and sports coat I was a little over-dressed but didn't feel too out of place. I ordered the Toronto Old Fashioned to drink and my girlfriend got a Southern Belle; both were delicious (the old fashioned was one of the best I've had anywhere, unique because of the hint of mint from fernet branca and the infusion of smoke). We ordered a plate of deviled eggs to start, which were delicious, and for entree's we got pierogis and squash agnolotti. Both were excellent, but for $18/piece the portions could've maybe been a little bigger. Finally, we got the red velvet Valentine's dessert special, which included red velvet cookies, brownies, and macaron's. All were delicious. Almost everything about Wheelhouse feels very upscale; the space if gorgeous, the food and drink is served beautifully, and the service is top notch. It also caters to the younger, bar-centric downtown crowd, so the music and lighting reflected more of that vibe. The price point is certainly higher than the bulk of nearby bars and restaurants, but felt pretty fair given the overall quality of the experience. All in all, I'd say this is one of the best restaurant experiences I've had anywhere. I will be making a point to come back."
