From the moment I walked in, Liz greeted me with the biggest smile and made me feel like a VIP. She was quick with recommendations and made sure my drink was never empty. But what really blew me out of the water was her exceptional customer service. She made me feel like part of the Bubba Gump family, checking in on me throughout my meal and making sure everything was perfect. "So we stopped to eat here on a whim as I do while on vacation. Was no wait to be seated and the waiter was friendly and did a great job. The place is clean for as busy it is and really quick with the food. We started with the run across America sampler it was served quick but the chicken was dry and cold was seasoned ok but chewy. The chips and artichoke dip were really bad asthe dip was dry and over cooked. Almost like it was under a heat lamp for way to long. Not enough cream cheese in it to make itreally a dip but a paste like concrete. The shrimp was good and the hush puppies were good. We got our plates I had the fishand chips. The fish on top of the fries were hot but we 're 75% batter and had no flavor at all. The fries were good and seasonedwell but we 're as cold as my ex wife 's heart. They were a little greasy as they were cooked way to long as the fish was dry andjerky like. My wife had the Jenny 's surf and surf and was sadder than when Jenny died in the movie. The salmon was dry but hada good grill marks and flavor. The shrimp that came with it was rubbery and over cooked barely eatable and the lobster buttersauce was non-existent. The only two things that I enjoyed was the drinks the lava flow drink my wife ordered was good as wellas the strawberry mango chiller I had. I would not visit this establishment again as there are way to many places in the area toget food that 's way better. They need to train the staff better and fire the back of the house manager. Letting food of thisquality leave the kitchen is an embarrassment to the brand. They truly need to audit the restaurant for quality control."

"I would fly to New York every month just to be around these amazing people if I could afford it! MC, Becky, Brian, and Naya, thank you for providing such a fantastic experience for my husband's 40th birthday and the incredible New Year's Eve event! You all are incredible, thank you once again for such a wonderful time! xoxo For those interested in booking for New Year's Eve, my husband and I started planning in February of 2023. We purchased our Bubba Gump New Year's Eve tickets as soon as they were released (make sure to sign up by email to be notified when sales begin, which I believe was around August/September). Despite the crowded streets, we felt very safe once we passed through security. With the high level of security present and the precautions taken, I believe it was the safest place to be on New Year's Eve. The toughest part was navigating through the crowd to reach the meeting point, where a Bubba Gump employee in a red visor will assist you through security. It's best to give yourself ample time and avoid engaging with the homeless or individuals in character costumes while making your way through the crowd. At the event, we met two couples who were very friendly and we had a great time together. We were able to leave our belongings at a booth without any issues. Throughout the night, there was plenty of food and drinks served by the bar. Bubba's mascot made an appearance to dance, and there were activities such as limbo and a congo line, along with two photo booth areas. Guests were given festive party favors and a goody bag with a shirt, large tumbler, and more. To sum it up, the New Year's Eve event at Bubba Gump was the best party and celebration I have ever attended, and I have no regrets! I would absolutely do it again without hesitation. In my opinion, they could be charging more for such a great deal, but they choose not to. This establishment and its staff are truly a treasure."

"I rarely give 5-star reviews, but this restaurant truly met all three phases of dining. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with smiles and exceptional hospitality. I requested to sit at the bar to watch the basketball game, and it was no issue at all. Once seated, our server Dazz took great care of us, providing fast service and promptly answering our menu questions. Our orders were taken accurately and served promptly without any mix-ups. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, with friendly staff that perfectly matched the atmosphere of the place. I also recommend trying the calamari as well as the fried and baked shrimp."

"Went for dinner with a friend on a Tuesday and had a great time! The wait was about 15-20min; you get a text when it's time and can explore as you wait. We got a table over looking the water and could see a sea lion in the distance! We had the clam chowder bowl, large fish and chips, and a side of onion rings, all of which was incredibly tasty. The clam chowder had just the right amount of clam; the fish and chips were tender and well portioned. It was a lovely experience!Parking: We found paid street parking about a block away for $3/hr. Definitely cheaper than the lots in the area!"

"Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by a pleasant and polite lady, whose cheerful energy was a delight. After being seated, we found ourselves waiting quite a long time before the server arrived. It was clear they were busy and a bit understaffed, so we didn’t mind too much. When the server finally came to our table to take our drink and appetizer order, we ended up waiting another 20 to 30 minutes for our drinks. It seemed like he might have forgotten to place the order, but we were in no hurry. When our food finally arrived, it was quite tasty. Although the sandwich was a bit messy, we managed to handle it after cutting it. The complimentary cup was a nice touch, too."

"Bubba Gump use to be our favorite place to get away and our reason for visiting Monterey -everymember of my family had a favorite dish. Its too bad your manager owner is not able to accomodate customers and decided to cut menu items (Seafood pasta choices) they thought were no longer necessary. Bubba Gump Restaurant would you please add the pasta seafood menu items back on the menu -clams, scallops, shrimp and chicken. After all we are eating right next to the Pacific Ocean. What is the logic? Shrimp is not the only choice item from the ocean!!! This was the reason we left the hot sanjoaquin valley. For the seafood pasta choices. You removed them and you removed another customer. Sorry to see it doesnt go for this many years even after being away during covid lockdown. Would you be so kind to consider bringing it back. Otherwise the food is still great but choice menu items are dwindling."

"Delicious seafood connection at Universal! We did not really grass the food in the theme parks themselves and decided to come one day to the general area for dinner. Bubba Gumps was so good! We ordered the gum that was so tasteful, as well as the shrimp plate that was really good. We also shared the shrimp scampi that was so delicious! I ordered a Bajo sunset that came home with a cup of the gift shop. The drink itself was fantastic!"

"Superb menus, plate portions are decent as well as the price. Go to place in Fort Lauderdale for seafood lover and you will not regret it. They have patio as well so you get to see the ocean front. The shrimps, lobster and sausage with corn yummers! And my fish with shrimp that i ordered is done to perfection. I have to buy the spices they use for 8 dollars and i got free bag and a mason jar it's awesome. We will be back here For sure"

"Ate dinner here before a theatre show. We made reservations because of the fullness of most restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, for us, there was one server and slow service. The manager took our order. However, the food was excellent, filling, and served fast. In my case makes up for lack of attention. Traditionally, I honor and respect wait staff tipping on the higher end, but since our “server” only brought us the $59 bill, I tipped $10 a little over 15%. Restaurant, bathrooms, and tables were clean. Because the meal was excellent, I would come back here again."

"I opted for the Shrimp Scampi, humorously named “Of Course We Have Scampi.” It was served on a bed of linguine with a delicious lobster butter sauce, accompanied by a slice of garlic bread, all for $19.99. While it was tasty, it didn't stand out as anything exceptional. My daughter absolutely loved her Macaroni and Cheese bowl, which came with fries and blue Jell-O served in an adorable Bubba Gump/Jenny cardboard boat, along with apple juice for just $6.99! The cardboard boat was incredibly cute! For dessert, we decided to share a Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae, topped with vanilla ice cream, caramel and chocolate sauces, peanuts, and whipped cream for $10.49. My daughter was thrilled with the ice cream and toppings, but unfortunately, the chocolate chip cookie was stale and overly dry. Overall, we enjoyed a wonderful meal, especially thanks to the standout dishes: the Maker's Mark Glazed Salmon and the 1/2 LB All-American Cheeseburger."

"I had dinner here while on vacation and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service. If you're not a fan of shrimp, there aren't many options for you, but fortunately, we love seafood. For our appetizer, we ordered garlic shrimp steamed in beer, and it was amazing! My wife had the Jambalaya, and I opted for the Forrest Surf and Turf. I didn’t expect a seafood restaurant to serve a great ribeye, but they did! Our server was excellent, consistently checking on us and making sure our drinks were refilled in a timely manner. While it isn’t cheap, the experience and quality of the food make it worth the price."

"the chef and the food were pretty good, so I gave 2 stars instead of 1. the whole experience was not very good. we arrived at 5:20 and had a reservation. we sat immediately with another group on the table, and beverage orders were taken quite quickly. it took a long time for the drinks to come. we then ordered all our food, and the server could not get the appetizer order right from someone. he always came back to try to double check and get it right. they have finally canceled the order because they had come after eating. we ordered a bottle of wine for $52, and he came back with a small bottle that was about half the size of a normal bottle. it says the bottle should have 4 glasses, but this would have had at most 2 glasses. we rejected it, then he came back with the normal bottle and said it was the fault of the bartender. After about 1/2 hour we finally have our suppening and salad course. After we had been there for over 45 minutes and no sign of the cook, I asked the server if we were in the position to leave 6:50 for a show for which we had tickets. at this time we realized that no one had turned the burners on the table, so when the cook came, he had to wait 10 minutes until he heated. at this point we were there 1 hour and 15 minutes when he started cooking. he cooked well and efficiently so that this was the best part. but we had to bring our server immediately kartons and pay because we didn't have time to eat our food once it was finished. we had no time to have the ice that should be taken into our mealtimes and it was not comped. it sat so much and waited for everything that could happen and could not even finish a meal in over an hour and a half. for $200 for 2 people I expected a much better experience. I'm not back."
