"Went here for brunch on Father’s Day. Fathers were given free coffee or tea and a free plain cake donut (like really plain – no frosting even after the meal. Service was great. Drinks were great and the views are pretty nice. Unfortunately, the reason for going to a restaurant – the food – was a bit lacking. My food was cold. Biscuits and gravy were on the cold side of tepid, but the potatoes served with them were hot. Not sure how that happened. The mountaineering theme was nice, to a point. Cool decorations around the room but food is served on small metal plates and bowls and hot drinks in tin cups, like you were camping. OK, kinda cute and I can go with that. But they give you one utensil that is a combination of knife and fork on one end and a spoon on the other. If you need to use both sides of the utensil, prepare to get your hands messy. (To be fair, they will provide regular utensils if asked. For the price, I think the portions were a bit small. Overall, I’d go back for drinks and maybe appetizers, but not for a meal."
