"There is a union kitchen by my house in garden oaks that is fantastic so i decided to check this place out. I got the voodoo balls which tasted great but were served all spaced out on the onion rings and since it was so cold in there they weren't very hot when I got them. Maybe they would be better served in a pile on a bed of the onion rings? My friend got the shrimp and grits which had a great flavor but is served in a lake of sauce. Personally I think it could use more grits to balance the amount of sauce especially for 22 dollars."

I go all the time to this place and bring new people with me and I will come lately, but lately, you chefs overdo it with the salt and we need to send the things back, unless they do something about it. for my last two visits, everyone on my party said that eating is just too salty."

"I was called by Tom George to let me know that they were not going to be serving brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to reschedule for dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my party a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday as I scheduled to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant did not call the next day and I decided I will not try to eat there again. So on Sunday I went to LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel where we had a lovely dinner which I knew I would because I have been there before.I do not know whose responsibility it is on Open Table to be sure the information about a restaurant is up to date and accurate, but nothing like this has ever happened to me at any restaurant before."

"Wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner with family. The River Crab is one of our very favorite restaurants and we so enjoyed sharing it with our family on this holiday. The food was fabulous--best dark-meat turkey I've had. Everyone at our table enjoyed the food and went back to the buffet for a little more. You can't beat the view. We saw four freighters pass by while we were there--always a treat. Debbie was the best server, always taking care of our needs without rushing us. We'll be back again and again and again."

"They serve the raw steak on a plate with a scorching hot 755-degree black rock, along with garlic butter to spread on each piece as you cook it. Honestly, it was one of the best steaks we've ever had at any steakhouse. The experience of cooking it to your preference made it so enjoyable and satisfying. You really get a lot of value for your money here—the sides were fantastic as well. For just $100, we had two steaks, an appetizer, and two beers. It was worth every penny! I highly recommend this place! Oh, and the service was excellent too!"

"Absolutely love eating here when I'm in Pasadena. Lunch specialities are always a great value and a La Cart portions are generous. It is not only your average run of the mill Chinese restaurant. The outside could look old, but it is very clean and pleasant inside, with ample parking on the back. You have a few dishes that I do not even find in other neighborhood Chinese restaurants, such as salted fish or crabs (real crabs) roasted rice. My favorite dish here must be the aromatic fish."

"I was excited to get the priory seating for this new restaurant. My friend and I were right on time for our seating. Went in to tell them we arrived and we were told by the hostess that it would be a minute wait for out door seating and if we wanted inside. We wanted to sit outside on this beautiful night. We waited minutes, and then checked in again to be sure we were not overlooked because walk ins were being seated. Again at minutes later. This time I was more upset because they originally told us minutes now we have been waiting minutes. The hostess definitely made a mistake. Because she did apologize to me over and over, but there was zero compensation for our inconvenience. This was the first time I used open table so I am not sure if it was the restaurant or the app. Food was delicious and our server was very efficient and friendly"

"Amazing.... The food was just incredible. I was concerned about cooking at the table but the server, who was in the bar area today, timed everything perfectly. I think that's the key to a good experience is the timing with a concept like this. I've always wanted to try it and I'm really glad I went today. Once again, amazing! The only minor drawback is that the smoke gets a little intense with all of the food cooking at the tables. But still a 5 star experience."

"My wife wanted to treat me to the Black Rock dining experience for Father's Day. The server was great and very attentive. All food items were good except my 16oz ribeye steak. It was prepared in the kitchen instead of table and was supposed to be medium well. It took an extended period of time for the steak to come out. The steak arrived well done and tough. After mentioning it to the server, she informed the manager. We Did Not request a discount, free item or meal comp. The manager gave an excuse referencing the temperature of a medium well steak and seemed upset that he had to stop what he was doing. The restaurant had not been open long and there was no crowd. It was a disappointing experience."

"I found a fantastic spot right at the front. I came for lunch to try the Drunken Noodle with shrimp, and it did not disappoint! The spicy flat noodles were paired with delicious, fresh vegetables. And yes, I must emphasize "spicy"! The spring rolls were tasty too; I had three of them, but I could easily have ordered more with the dipping sauce. Morris Thai has a comfortable, cozy, and clean atmosphere, with attentive service. I definitely want to bring my adult kids here for dinner!"

"December 2,2022- Saturday Night Arrived around 10ish and we found a table by asking around to see if they were using it. The Radom lady guys whose already been at the bar told us that we can have that booth. So we sat down since we 're a party of 6. Keep in mind this place is already packed with a birthday celebration people from the bowling alley as well. So we finally stopped 1 of the waitresses that was walking around she took our order down. So keep in mind while we waited for our drinks we decided i wonder if they 're selling food still so we asked our waitress again she said no our kitchen is closed. So we 're like ok yea it 's about 10:30ish I guess that makes sense. This location also offers Karaoke so I asked for a book to join in on the fun, but I 'd assume it 's a long wait because people are really singing right after another. Now it 's about 11:25pm we seen another table who barely got a seated had ordered food with another waitress. Then I told my friend about it so she immediately stopped that waitress and asked wait you 're still selling food the other girl told us kitchen was closed. So of course our immediate reaction was upset because we just wanted to order pupus to go with our drinks. The 2nd waitress did apologize and let us know the kitchen closes at 11:30pm (so keep this info in mind if y 'all decide to go they try to lie to you like they did to us). After we were told that we decided let 's close out our tab get the hell out of here. My opinion is that I probably won 't come back to this location to the BAR on the right side of this establishment. If bowling was available we 'd done that instead but they was closed for a league on Saturday nights."
