"My friends and I went to the restaurant for dinner on a weekend and it was very crowded. We were seated relatively quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. However, the food could use some improvement. While it wasn't terrible, we have had better sushi at other places, so there is room for improvement with some of the dishes. The chicken and shrimp teriyaki was overly sweet and the chicken did not taste quite right. Some of the sushi was tasty, but others were just average. Despite this, I would still recommend this restaurant overall."

"We got some Chinese and Japanese dishes. The hot and sour soup was really. It had some spice to it to go along with the sour. Best I have had in a long time. Also got Kung Pao chicken which also was spicy like it should be. Japanese rolls and dishes were very good also. Will definitely be going back. Looking forward to dining in the next time. "We enjoyed the guacamole and salsa. The medium guacamole and it was fairly spicy. Each person ordered a different kind of enchiladas and tacos and then we traded around so that everyone could try several kinds. We were severed quickly which would be good for people who have an evening engagement. Our only complaint was that it was quick noisy which made it difficult to hear each other at our table."

"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we are looked after before us. We expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it out of a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"Apparently Sept 14th was not a good night for Enso because it was the worst service for a lot of people. We had a 615 reservation, ordered at 630 we had a concert to get to and we didn't get our food until 8.. 1.5 hrs later !!! and that's only because we complained and had to track down the manager. I even went to the sushi counter and had to directly order our sushi bc they didn't have our ticket. We told the manager that we weren't paying for the meal and she was fine w it. That's the only reason they would even get the one star. It was just awful."

"Make no mistake. The What The Heck 8pc roll was serious! (Soft-shell crab shrimp tempura topped with avocado, spicy tuna, seasonings and sauce) [the little tiny cubes of what looked like red bell pepper, or cherry tomato was decorative as a detail topping- this roll was a piece of art] Miso soup was good! We are coming back to try some other sushi rolls. Much respect. House Sushi is underrated!!!"

"I can't believe I pulled out our waitress's name, but she went up and beyond!!! When it comes to Sushi Tomo Sushi, our GO TO!!! But this time we came with most of our children so still a great deal, 9 of us came today. I ordered a rum and Pepsi and had to show my ID, of course, and our wonderful waitress noticed that it just happened to my birthday, May 29. She said happy late birthday and by further small conversation, my wife and I said, May is our family birthday month.... total we have 8 of our 12 birthdays ALL in May. Our waitress brought us a large beautiful plate of fried ice with a message written in aromatized syrup that read: Happy Belated B-Day.... The May family And that was On the House! As a last birthday present....We couldn't believe the thoughtful generosity! It was SO APPRECIATED and I hope the store and she reads it! It was amazing and my family and I thank her so much!!!! "I have frequented Yuraku for years and have always been impressed with the food, service and environment. But this year we were missing a scallop roll and two different types of dumplings from our takeout order and the restaurant never made good on the products or the problems. I was tied up over Christmas and did not reach out to them until early January when I notified them of the issue. At the very least after being a customer for over a decade I expected they would make good on what was missing from the order. Instead they never found a copy of my order and refused to believe I was telling the truth without it. I was very disappointed in them and will definitely try to find other sushi options to replace them. They acted as though I was lying can you imagine it was Christmas Eve and we ordered several vegan rolls and we did not have enough food to feed the non-Vegans among us. They should be ashamed of themselves for not believing us and following up."
