"We’ve been twice and waited almost an hour the first time. The first time we ordered a fish sandwich, hot dog, a fry, an onion ring, a tea and soda. During this time, one of the staff had time to go out for multiple smoke breaks. The tea had soured. It was sitting on the counter in a dirty gallon milk jug. The food was good, despite the delays due to every 10 minute smoke breaks, so we decided to try it again. On today’s visit, we ordered a fish sandwich, a cheeseburger and an onion ring. We decided against drinks this time bc I didn’t want a repeat of sour tea. When I paid, I was asked if I wanted to add a tip to my order. I declined, bc 1) they asked me for a tip 2) they hadn’t even done anything besides take my order at that point, and 3) I was going to give their service/expediency a chance before giving them a cash tip. A few minutes later a guy came in and ordered, and was asked about a tip. He said sure and when he was asked how much, she said thank you very much for his $5 tip. Then she looked at us and started talking loudly about some people not tipping. That guy had his food less than 5 minutes later and was out the door. It once again took well over 30 minutes (probably closer to 45 mins) to be served our to go order. Again, the same staff member had multiple smoke breaks. The food is good, but the service is horrible, it takes way too long, the server reeks of cigarette smoke, and the place is filthy looking. So, no, I did not end up giving a cash tip. And heads up for anyone paying attention to the menu on google. It’s 3 years out of date, so the prices are considerably more, but still decent compared to other places. Just if you think you’re gonna spend about $7 based on these menus, plan on $14. If they cleaned it up, and maybe hired some better and quicker staff, it may be worth a third shot."
