"Avoid this place. Thus is the second time here and I can't find a single redeeming quality that keeps them in business. The food quality and execution has been bad both times we've been here. I ordered a Greek omelet and it was basically a fried scrambled egg disk. no feta, hardly any tomato, and there were potatoes in it for some reason. The coffee is awful and weak, their syrup is noticeably cheap and weird tasting.... the hash browns were under cooked last time I was here my pancakes came to the table twice still raw in the middle. it isn't even that cheap. Run, don't walk, away from here."

"I was called by Tom George to let me know that they were not going to be serving brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to reschedule for dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my party a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday as I scheduled to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant did not call the next day and I decided I will not try to eat there again. So on Sunday I went to LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel where we had a lovely dinner which I knew I would because I have been there before.I do not know whose responsibility it is on Open Table to be sure the information about a restaurant is up to date and accurate, but nothing like this has ever happened to me at any restaurant before."

"We spent $60 for two adults and two kids, and we were quite disappointed. All of our fries were ice cold and as hard as a rock! I had ordered curly fries, but 75% of the box was filled with regular fries, with just a few curly ones on top. To make matters worse, they even included four hash browns from breakfast! It was very unappetizing!"
"Left freeborns to go eat breakfast this last Sunday. Only 1 person working the front. Only 5 sets of customers in front of me. 2 with each set. Young ,red hair lady could only take 1 order at a time, would turn around and wait for each customer order to be filled before taking another. Took her 20 min. To even take our order. Had absolutely anything else been open in Sparta to eat. Would have left. One customer in front of us did walk out the door. Said he could drive home and fix it himself, before he got service there. I observed her holding a cup under coffee machine to fill up. Leaving customers to wait on her to do this. Instead of propping her big hiney up at window waiting on each order. She could have been doing things to stay caught up. Poorest example of what not to do in a fast food restaurant, I have ever witnessed . Also no paper towels in bathroom, nor did dryer work. Last time we ever go there. Thought we were going to pass our from hunger before we got to order. Took us almost 44 minutes in a fast food restaurant to get served and to eat. Then when it came my turn to order. She said it would be 5 minutes on chicken. She actually took another order and helped them instead of standing there for five min. I thought the other customers were going to cheer. Absolutely no customer service, young girl wasn’t smart enough to do the job , but very slowly and very poorly. What has American come to . Cannot even work fast food. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Visited this restaurant for first time in a while. The food was great as always but unfortunately the staff continue to wear masks incorrectly which keeps us from coming back. We try to only go to restaurants where staff wear masks as I am immunocompromised. The mask on my waiter did not cover his nose or mouth! .Many of the staff had nose and mouth uncovered and many others wore masks only over their mouths. This makes masks useless as the virus lives in the nose and is spread through the nose and mouth. Will have to again wait till virus gets better before we return. I wish restaurants were more concerned about their customers. We like to support local businesses but this makes it more difficult."

"This Hardee's allows you to use multiple coupons at once, which is a fantastic feature that other locations often lack. The owner is very accommodating and lets you order with more than one coupon, making this the best Hardee's by far. In comparison, the Sleepy Eye location is just average, and New Ulm's is disappointing. Not all restaurants operate the same way; it really depends on the management. My experience at New Ulm's was so poor that we left without our food and opted for McDonald's instead, where they let us use multiple coupons for three people's meals. I don’t live with my parents and wanted to buy my own food, but was told that wasn’t allowed, which is frustrating. Even McDonald's is more flexible in that regard. The Windom Hardee's deserves credit for their customer service, which is likely why the New Ulm location has a bad reputation. At New Ulm's, you're limited to one coupon, although you could technically use another if you went inside after using one in the drive-thru. That doesn't make sense and has cost them our business for good. I've since told my friends not to eat there either, as the staff could really use some common sense. On a related note, I appreciate that the Hardee's in Windom offers free water, as does McDonald's. I recently heard about a child in Mankato who was denied water at Burger King on a hot day, which could have resulted in a serious accident. It’s essential for workers to show kindness and prioritize customers' well-being. Although I struggle financially, I would gladly give up my paid water to help someone in need. Water should be free everywhere. Thankfully, some places still have staff who show kindness and common sense. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5"

"Visit date: 6/26/2022 Pros: Our server was extremely friendly and our wait time for a table was only 10 minutes. Hence the 2 stars and the only pros of our experience. Cons: We ordered at approximately 5:30pm and did not receive our food until approximately 6:50pm. We ordered the crab cake dinner and chicken for our entrees. Over an hour wait for these entrees is ridiculous and we were not happy at all. Once Food finally arrived, it was warm, not hot off the grill. Hubbys"

"Great food. Service is moderate, but I think it was because it was busy and maybe shorthand. The corn beef hash with rye toast was excellent. I just ate breakfast here and there is a sign on the door that says because of the price increase, add $4.00 to every steak on the menu. I recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back."

"This place is so very warm friendly. Even though we arrived 25 minutes before closing, we were treated wonderfully. Our waitress was the prettiest girl who smiled, was very patient with us (our 1st time there the menu is huge! checked on us several times, our tea coffee never ran out she even offered us a to go box, something I've always had to ask for at other places. The food was hot fresh from the oven, Delicious Plenty of it! As the last people still eating at closing time, we were not rushed or ignored, in fact our waitress chatted with us for a few minutes. An all around great place, we will be back!Vegetarian options: Several salads soups to choose from a long list of sides (vegetables .Kid-friendliness: Casual atmosphere, all are welcome.Parking: Huge parking lot, it's in a strip mall."
"I normally don 't do reviews on fastfood because well fastfood but this place is terrible we waited like 20 mins for our food a bacon cheese burg, a Philly double burg, a chicken sandwich, and 3 orders of fries I didn 't mind because I figured it would be fresh...NOPE the Philly double was only a single the bacon cheese burg looked old like really old like days old and so dry the only thing that was good were the fries and chicken sandwich was good but the bun seemed old and stale ... I paid $35 not happy at all won 't ever be back I did give the service 2 stars because the guy that bagged the order was kinda friendly dinning room was very dirty looking but I think it 's just cuz the place is old* "Update we took food back they replaced the Philly with the one we ordered but they didn 't toast it and they replaced the bacon cheese burg but it was COLD AND DRY this place is just gross!!"

"Oh my goodness. What is going on at this Hardee's? I went in on Saturday night the young man taking orders has his headphones on and phone in his hand. He never greeted me or anything. So I place my order. It's very noticeable that this place is not organized. He hands me a milk shake that's like water. The Frisco burger bun is not toasted. I walk over to the counter to the young man now on his phone with his headphones on talking to someone. I ask Can I speak to your manager? Obviously he didn't hear me because you know why take the headphones off at work. I asked again he just looks at me but someone must have heard me because the employees in the back are talking about how they are looking for him. I just threw the food away and went to Cookout. As I was pulling out I see a car parked by the dumpster with two people in it. I thought to myself probably the manager they can't find. I will not be returning way to many other places to go. Clearly nobody cares here."

"This restaurant is a typical pancake diner, but the food is delicious. My family visited here over 10 years ago and the quality and taste of the food has remained consistent. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place, especially for families. We ordered waffles with strawberries, pancakes, grits, bacon, smoked sausage, toast, and potatoes. Everything was delicious. The grits could have used a little more salt, but they were still enjoyable. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. I would give this place a 10/10 rating."

"I want to start on a positive note: the food was enjoyable. My French toast was fresh and cooked perfectly, the coffee was decent, and the staff was incredibly warm and friendly. The waitresses and cashier were exceptionally sweet. However, I found the prices to be quite steep. My French toast plate was priced at $10, and while it was tasty, I wouldn’t say it was worth that much—maybe around $7 or $8 would be more reasonable. I don’t want to come off as overly picky about prices, but I also dislike the feeling of being overcharged, whether it’s due to the restaurant's reputation or its location. I’m just visiting Atlanta, and I’ve heard that Buckhead can be quite expensive. I realize this restaurant has been around for a long time, and perhaps they’re setting their prices based on their history rather than the actual value of what’s offered. In summary, it’s a charming spot, but not a great value. I probably wouldn’t go back."

"Today I ordered the beef sandwich with mushrooms added and it was outstanding!! Full of beef and shrooms on a very large kaiser roll. Fried okra was my side and it was nice and tender and cooked in fresh grease. Some of the best fried okra I have ever tasted. Also the prices are very reasonable and I was shocked at the large portions!!! I always order from Grubhub and there are many days a week that I can not order because it says closed. Would order more often if it wasn't for that fact!!!"

"This is a fantastic family restaurant! The food is great, and it's a wonderful place to dine. My favorites are the Chicken Parmesan and the Chef's Salad, but they also serve breakfast, turkey dinners, broiled Tilapia, and more. I generally avoid fried foods, so I can't comment on those, but it's hard to find places that serve real turkey breast in their club or turkey sandwiches. I also believe this is one of the few places in the city where you can enjoy a traditional turkey dinner every day (unlike others that now serve pressed turkey... yuck). Don't miss out on their amazing homemade Greek dressing—it's some of the best I've ever tasted. The service tends to be better earlier in the day and not as good close to closing time. The owners are fantastic, always caring for their customers and accommodating their needs. The prices are very reasonable too. You really get a hometown feel in this restaurant!"
