"I've been participating in the Thursday taco ride to Tobey Jack's Mineola Steak House for tacos and margaritas consistently for about a decade. We also make sure to stop by during multi-day bikepacking trips and other group rides along the trail. I really enjoy the overall ambiance, and I especially love when they have live music on the patio. If they could enhance their bean taco offerings, I would come even more often! Thank you for being such an essential part of southwest Iowa for so long and providing riders with a fantastic destination on the Wabash Trace Nature Trail every day. Here’s to many more years of taco rides!"

"Very disappointed.I’ve ordered couple things from here.The (whole fried chicken is $24.95.Come with 3 flavor options. (Sweet and Spicy, Sweet Garlic Soy, and Spicy Garlic Soy The breading is crispy and hot, but the chicken was dry and old. (Except the wing and the leg portion. Fried boneless chicken is between $16.95 and $19.95. Come with 5 flavor options. (Original, Sweet and Spicy, Sweet Garlic Soy, Spicy Garlic Soy, Green Onion Mix, and Spicy Honey. Similarly, the breading and flavor were great, but the boneless chicken is just very dry, probably similar to Wings Stop. Maybe marinating it would taste differently.Also, customer service was bad, it seems like that they treat Korean customer better.Well, Bon Chon quality control have declined dramatically recently, this place definitely won’t fulfill my chicken cravings. Keep looking. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated."

"FWIW I am Korean American and do not like all you can eat restaurants so this was a tough sell. With that said, came out with a friends who love coming here. I could see why this place is really inviting to people who aren't Korean. The menu is in English with easy to understand descriptions. I actually had a hard time ordering because I didn't see any Korean (could have missed it). We went early (4:45 on a Sunday evening) so we only had to wait 10 minutes.Service was excellent and the bell is very convenient. The food comes out right away since you cook it at your table. Wine only comes by the bottle which is not a big deal since they're pretty inexpensive but not really why you come here.On to the food it was just okay. The pork belly and brisket are good honestly though, it's the same quality that you get from a Korean grocery store. The bulgogi was okay, kalbi was bad, squid was bad (although I never like squid at a korean bbq)... there were a few other meats, but just wasn't a fan. The banchan was also really limited and bad. Not a fan of cooking setup. You cook over a cast iron griddle with a cooking sheet on top (that they replace with each order). For me korean bbq is about getting the smokey flavor, seer, and caramelization from an open flame and better if it's over hot coals. This thing doesn't make sense to me.At the end of the day, I think it's really about quantity over quality which just isn't my thing. Come here starving and leave totally stuffed. I will say I was skeptical when I walked in because I didn't see any Koreans around. When I left I understood why. Please do not bring any Korean person here especially anyone from Korea (parents, relatives, friends) they will complain the entire time."

"My first experience was wonderful at this restaurant. It was a Sunday night and the restaurant wasn’t crowded (yet The servers were fine. They did everything they’ve supposed to. It felt like a small family owned business.Food: it was good. B+. Love the combo. Smaller in size but you get to have 2 dishes. The Soft Tofu soup wasn’t that good, just OK IMHO. The Bulgogi was yummy as well as their side dishes. The broccoli tasted really good for somehow. Maybe it was because of the Bulgogi.If the owner or manager were to read this, please put more lights inside the restaurant. I felt it was a little dark inside. On my way out, I saw a woman using the phone’s flashlight to read the menu. Before coming in, I thought it was closing time because it was dim both inside and outside of the restaurant."
