"Teriyaki of Japan is definitely a favorite of me and my wife. Our first visit occurred when the establishment was only one week old, and we have not stopped going back since. We have not eaten there in a few months now, but each time that we visit, the food, service, and cleanliness is nothing shy of top notch. They have not long completed a remodel that has taken the restaurant to a new level. They have masterfully combined warm paint hues and accents with black wood crown molding, chair rails, and window trim. The ceiling is now black tile which makes it feel lower for a more intimate feel. There is light color tile on the floor, almost alabaster in color. There is dark wood blinds, new tables, chairs and pendant lighting. There are also LCD TVs for patron to enjoy. The ambiance of the new Teriyaki of Japan is upscale, romantic and chic. Once you walk in and have a seat in the new dining area, you forget you are in East Ridge, and you feel like you are in a big city. The new Teriyaki of Japan is great for a romantic date night, for enjoying a night out with family or simply hanging out with friends. Very soon, I look forward to visiting again with my wife, giving a review of our meal and adding updated photos.
