"Great place! This place is not connected to the small Cucina in Südmerrick. Came with my brother and nephew. We have a variety of slices, including Sicily, Buffalo,bbq,Grandma and garlic knots. All were great and the staff and the owner were all very friendly. Darlene the owner was also very friendly."

"To celebrate my birthday, I had a few local restaurants to choose from, but with our 5-week-old baby girl, we were limited. This was our first night out, and I picked my favorite place for dinner. We are always satisfied with the food and the early bird special. The staff is consistently attentive, and the menu offers plenty of options. I love this restaurant, and it was a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday and enjoy our first night out in a few weeks. It's a large local diner in an area with several choices, but it's definitely our favorite."

"I always order from this restaurant since I work a couple blocks away from here the food is always great . I always order a Cesar Salad with chicken. One time I ordered they did not put chicken in it. I contacted Slice sent them a picture regarding this since they are charging me additional fee for chicken. They kept telling Slice that no it had chicken there was no mistakes they refused the refund. Called myself and they I told them what happened they said they are willing to drop off the chicken I said no thank you would like the refund please said ok and will contact slice to get the refund. A day later slice emailed me that they still believe the order was correct declined my refund. So disappointing cause iI had the proof and theres video footage where I work I even showed the salad to other employees that worked at the school. sadly after this i will not be purchasing here no more."

"EDIT: Upon seeing my review, the owner contacted me. I am certainly willing to give them another try and support a business that shows they genuinely care about their customers experience.First tried Pizzabar a few months ago because they offered vegan pizza. It was tasty and we were pleased. Maybe we had low expectations for vegan pizza or maybe it was just better then. Last night we ordered a regular pizza and a side of meatballs. They were both completely tasteless. We ended up dousing the pizza with garlic powder and hot sauce which we never do. Thinking it was just the pizza we tried the meatballs those and the sauce alone were bland. Very disappointing. Didnt even save the leftover pieces which NEVER happens in my house. Felt like wasted money."

"im a local. grew up around the corner. i came back into town a little while back and spent the worst 70$ with tip i ever spent at a local place where the locals go. it was the dreaded sunday early afternoon shift there, and when they served my chickenbacon ranch large pie at my door i was excited. i ignored the ungrateful look on the delivery boys face with my 20% tip but wheni opened the box to the wretched chicken pie it looked like the half man locked away in the observation room eating out of a dogbowl from the end of The Fly with Jeff Goldblum. truly putrid. pie looked D.O.A., the wings were tire fire burnt, not Crisp ,and...i know, who am i? you dont need me! well, i dont need you either, and probably will cost you the $70 i spent along theline with this review, FOR SURE!"

"I always liked to go here, always loved the food. I recently came to the phone with an rude young man because I tried to cancel my order and get a refund and he wouldn't allow it. It's 8:26p now if the food should be? was here at 7:45. But still I called at 7:45 to cancel the order and the young lady said The food was already on the way and asked what was my reason for the cancellation. I told her I don't need the food she answers to a young man. As if I was a child and repeated the word? after every word, as if I could not understand. He then explained the same thing the young lady did and said they already made the food and it on the way. I explained that since I did not receive it, I should receive a refund because I did not have the product, but he repeated himself in a humiliating way to mock me and say? Why would you order the food if you didn't want it or knew you couldn't accept it? That's not nice? How Bro are we kids? Who has the courage to say that? I explained that I cannot control whether something appears in my life, as things happen outside the peoples control. He says he's gonna spend a loan and leave him in a credit book? next time I come in?.as if I were back. If he is responsible, he has an immature, terrible, unnecessary attitude that I have never experienced in my life by someone working with customers. Customers also get under my skin and it can cause me to lose my temperament, but it is common to get a refund for a product that you do not receive. Now I'm at home at 8:30 and nothing yet. When I got the loan, it also meant that the food no longer comes, they didn't explain it and made it seem as it was already on the way that I would still get it or had to take it. And yes, I was hanging on the young man because how incredibly rude he was"

"Two words- Friggin delicious! I had been feeling down and low, as my pizza experience in Forest Hills hasn't been that great since living here. Thankfully my husband is the explorer in the relationship and decided to walk around the area. He stumbled upon Dante's and just had a feeling it would be good so he told me about it. We went there together a couple of days later and, thank the heavens, my pizza dilemma is now solved! The pizza at Dante's is the classic New York slice with the perfect amount of cheese and a nice thickness to the crust. The places I've been to before have had crust that's either too thin and too dry with the cheese lacking and sauce tasting like water at times. I don't mind thin crust but you gotta know how to do it. I'm happy to say that I found a place I can order from that has the New York pizza I've been searching for! I'll definitely be back!"

"Shame how far and fast this place fell from the grace it opened with. Used to be a real bagel breakfast joint in the early am abiet hala style no real bacon just that gross stringy beef bacon which isn't bacon at all) currently it's opens after 730am instead of 5 am! which defeats the purpose of being a go to bagel place on the way to work or school. The bagels used to get driven in from NY daily which explained the amazing quality.... that isn't a thing any longer. The staff was changed and it shows big time. Flies feasting on days old bagels was the icing on the cake for me to realize not worth the stomach ache or money to eat at this place ever again. Stay away if you don't want to be sick in short."

"My coworker and I called at 11:30 AM to order two lunch specials of penne alla vodka with chicken. When we arrived, the staff informed us that the total would be $38 for the two specials. We were taken aback, as each lunch special is priced at $12.95, making the total should have been around $25. The staff member then mentioned, “You didn’t specify that you wanted the lunch special over the phone.” We regret not walking out at that moment and will never spend our money on their food again."

"Just about everything that could go wrong with our most recent order at this pizzeria did.I ordered a 14 sausage and cheese pie along with a 10 mushroom and sausage gluten-free pie. Both pizzas were delivered with no utensils or even a bag, 20 minutes late, lukewarm, and the 14 sausage and cheese pizza was just a plain cheese pizza. It tasted bland, and the cheese was a mess, falling off everytime I pulled out a slice.This place still owes me $5 for toppings I paid for that never came. I messaged the pizzeria last night, but have yet to hear back. I'm just grateful I live in NYC, where the choices for pizzerias are plentiful. Unfortunately, this one just lost two customers."

"Some people review Customer Service as being sexist or rude. Some people also say the food has gotten better since new management or some say it’s gotten worse.Personally I’ve been coming to this pizzeria for almost 20 years and despite who’s been running it I have never had anything but pleasant interactions with the staff, and as far as the pizza goes, there’s a reason why I’ve been coming for 20 years…selection and quality is off the charts. "Tonight was our first night at this restaurant. We noticed the wine and Dine Special for Friday night, which included two entrees and a bottle of wine for $60. We live in Wetau, but decided to try something different. It was definitely worth the drive. Our waitress, Peggy, was very friendly. They brought a beautiful bread basket to the table before our meal, with three different types of bread. I ordered the eggplant spinach pasta with penne and my husband ordered the chicken rollatini marinara with penne, which also had spinach. Both dishes were large and absolutely delicious. We ended up taking half of them home. We also enjoyed a bottle of pinot grigio, which was a generous size and tasty. We will definitely be returning. They also have pasta specials on Monday nights and chicken specials on Tuesday nights, which can be found on their website at very affordable prices. The dining room was clean, quiet, and all COVID protocols were followed. The front entrance of the restaurant features a pizza counter with a variety of pizzas available for takeout or delivery."
