"Blown away with the kindness of the people working this little resturant. The service was above standard. And the food was absolutely perfect. Yeah, everyone serves eggs and bacon, but when was the last time you went to eat breakfast and the food comes to your table, it looks perfect, and when you cut into your eggs and they are not runny, and you take the first bite and then....you had to look to see if your mother is working in the kitchen?! It was fantastic. Thanks you to Fox’s Cafe!!! I will be back!"

"Was very busy. 6 at our table. My wifes food and my food were taken to another table....the rest of our party finished thier plates before they were able to bring replacement dinners. The replacement dinners were not thier best quality. Were definately hurried. Those two meals were comped and this is my first bad experience at a Roadhouse."

"We went here for dinner before going to see Hamilton (the musical) at Spark Arena. Little bit nervous because past reviews mentioned late food and bad service, however it was nearby and easy access for mobility aids. The servers were nice and accommodating during a busy time. The food arrived quickly, less than 10 minutes I reckon. It was good bar food though not a lot of vegetarian options. We spent a pleasant time eating, drinking, and chatting while the rugby played in the background. Then arrived at the show in plenty of time. Thanks team"

"We just ate here today for the first time. Simple, old fashioned menu. Nothing fancy, which suited us perfectly. Sometimes (most times) you just want your meal to be served on a plate instead of a chopping board or layered in a beaker so this place was it. Food was very good and reasonably priced. We ordered the Station Master's burger (with the lot), Emerald Lake burger (the lot without egg), chocolate muffin and bacon and egg toasted. Every single morsel of food was happily eaten. Chocolate muffin was great because it wasn't overly sweet. Burgers were served with fries making them even greater value. We ate during the lunch rush. We only waited a few minutes for service and food only took about 5 minutes after our order was taken. Food was served all together which was much appreciated as we were all very hungry."

"Been here 3 times and every time has been incredible!!!! The bacon, avacado, tomato omelet is the best I've ever had! Me and my boyfriend love this place so much we ate here for our anniversary for breakfast! If your a breakfast person like me it's a must!!! Ingredients are so fresh, people are so kind! My boy got the sausage patty once and a hamburger the next time both were amazing!!! Highly recommended!!! Kevin is amazing at what he does, definitely can feel his passion for it in his food!"

"When we first moved to Chicago, there was a Bangers Lace on Addison in Roscoe Village. It was closed at that time, but we were assured it would be remodeled and reopen. Unfortunately, that never happened (although its replacement, Kite String, is fantastic). On our first trip to Division Street afterwards, we discovered another location! After visiting several times, I really wish there was still a B L closer to home. To start with, the music is excellent. That's always the first thing I notice—it’s always a perfect mix that sets the right atmosphere."

"It was me 2 other people. Food was good, portions were good as well. I guess my problem was we were only greeted to take our order, when the food was dropped off and then whom I assume was the busser dropped off our check. No one checked in on us, we had empty drinks for half our meals. We didn’t get refills until our check was dropped off and we were pretty much all set with our meal. I am a server myself so honestly the fact we weren’t checked up on at least once was my issue. We get the bill and a automatic 18% tip was added, on a bill for $50 and only 3 people. When I asked about this the waitress said it’s automatically added on bills over $60. Our bill was $56 something plus tax so it was a little over $60. I asked if this is any where on the menu and she said you weren’t told about it when they dropped off the bill I was like no. At first I didnt realize they had added the automatic tip, until we paid and I double checked. The receipt we signed doesn’t even say tip was added already. Usually when it’s automatic gratuity it says (w.e extra amount you want to leave extra) it said 18% over the total that had already included the previous tip. I almost added a extra $10 had I not double checked the itemized receipt."

"This bakery offers a fantastic selection and excellent service. I tried the Dulce de Leche coffee cake twist, which was delicious and paired nicely with coffee or tea. I also had the Oreo cheesecake bomboloni, which was huge but only tasted okay. The traditional cannoli with chocolate chips was good as well, though it might not be the best you've ever had. It is a bit pricey, but it's still a great place to visit."

"The staff were friendly and helpful but new and possibly understaffed which made the service a little slow. (It wasn’t a problem given the congenial surroundings. The toilets were wet but I’m not sure who is responsible for them. It was like they’d been mopped but there was no airflow or warmth to dry them."

"Decent selection of rotating beer or even some mixed drinks if you prefer that. Where this place really shines for me is sports however. I've watched several mavs games here and they usually have the sound on but never gets too packed. I even watched the super bowl here this year and it had just enough of a crowd that it felt lively but plenty of options for seating as well. I recommend this place if you like a super chill laid back place to watch sports like me."
