"What threw me off was the waitress with blue eyes asking for an ID along with your vaccination card. I don't see the point of that. My husband showed it on his phone and he still needed to show his ID. What do you think? He stole someone's phone? We arehere to spend money. That's one of the reasons I wouldn't recommend or return. I ordered Bolon with Chicharron, Bolon Mixto, and2 coffees. My coffee was half full (it doesn't matter if I asked for half and half). The Bolon was okay. There were also 2little hairs that looks like eyelashes on my husband's plate and on the table. The bill was quite high, I checked and gratuitywas added. Doesn't matter how many is dining, they will automatically put gratuity on your bill which is another reason I won'tbe returning. Lastly, a gentleman came after us and he got his order taken before us."

"Food is very good. The Barzola chain is probably the best for Ecuadorian food compared to other restaurants. The price though is very high for drinks and food. The encebollado is always excellent, llapingachos is very good as well. We always get the empanada and it comes out hot and fresh and the mochines are the best. "I’m happy that you respond so fast but my complain is about the FOOD DON’T put food in the menu that you’re not going to be able to do at that time, or you could advise the customer that’s going to sit there’s a lot of things that are in themenu and that you won’t be able to have. And if you were there you know that the drinks you also couldn’t deliver. I heardso much about this place so I decided to go today November 18, 2022 , take my children and my family that came from Peru, ????big mistake call before you go make sure they’re gonna have what you want . The chicken ???? looks like they refried itinstead of being Pollo Alaba nothing like what it shows on Facebook or on the other advertisements. My children’s were veryunhappy , they thought it was going to be good Peruvian food but instead they said the only thing that was good about it was thefrench fries that it was fresh. I should have taken my trip to go to Queens to Jackson Heights and eat REAL Peruvian food ormaybe it was not The restaurants day to be open. I did see a lot of people going in and getting some empanadas so instead ofPeruvian food maybe they should be call The Empanadas place and then you know where you’re going to eat. Specially if the ladyClaudia was not or was there she should really be careful who is managing her front or front or maybe she just ignores that .Sorry I wouldn’t go there again sorry about that especially for my mother she was unhappy she said wow this is what they’recalling Peruvian Food in the Bronx specially coming from Peru herself. That was my experience in November 2022 at 4 PM I thinkit was on a Friday."

"It was my first time dining at Orinoco and it was an excellent experience. The atmosphere is inviting and distinctive, felt inviting after a long day. I got an Empanada Verde and Orinoco Mojito to start, a mixed salad and Parrilla Caraqueña for my main, and Quesillo for dessert. I stray away from mojitos because of sweetness but I figured to give it a chance and I wasn’t disappointed. It had the right balance and one of my favorite mojitos I’ve ever had. The empanada had me wishing I ordered more. The main entree was excellent, hats off to the kitchen staff. The chicken, steak, chorizo, and yuca fries cooked to perfection. The flavor/seasonings were balanced, and didn’t beg of anything else (sauces, etc. . I usually don’t go for dessert but I’d say the quesillo would be a dessert to treat yourself to. Lastly, the service was incredible. Very warm, attentive, and informative, Philip and Daniel are what made the experience for me, and are the reason I will return. Highly recommend, you won’t regret giving Orinoco a try. I’m looking forward to trying out more of their menu."
