"I can’t believe I have never given this outstanding restaurant a review. We eat here frequently. The service tonight as every time we have eaten here was outstanding! The food is the best and I have actually been to Puerto Vallarta. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming! The prices lower than expected. $45 for 2 dinners and drinks. I had a large draft and my son a soda. Chips and salsa were included. We added queso.also you have to try the homemade hot sauce!! The flavor is delicious but be warned it’s called hot for a reason. I will try to remember to get some photos on our next visit! Until then do not pass by this hidden gem!"

"What can I say? This place is everything. Customer service is everything. When I think about Bartlett, I think about this great place. For a restaurant that has no bar.... it works. This is the real definition of a family restaurant. Whether you want to bring your family, friends or colleagues... this is the place. I left my iPad and other personal items at this point. The next day they called back and they threw it away and waited for me when I returned the next day and would not take some kind of tip for it. I highly recommend El Idolo!"

"Best Place to Eat Authentic Mexican Cuisine...All Around Great Food and Experience.. Well the business has went down hill last 2 experience were horrible ...I called back tonight he was wrong and didn't want to admit it then I was charged 40$ for 2 basic quesdillla and some queso I never ordered I even questioned before I left he made small talk I checked at home food was wrong horrible and my quesdillla cheese wasn't even melted inside big globs of unmelted cheese and spinach...I usually come twice a week will not be back nor my friends or family."

"The food was not good. It was cold like it's been sitting out our drinks were very watered down. The customer service was awful. A very horrible experience. Our waitress was Milan and she had the nastiest attitude and she kept getting our order wrong and forgetting items. We come to this place a lot and we usually get her as a server and she does this all the time. Every time we would we remind her or ask her for something, she would make us wait longer and she would roll her eyes at us every time. She would purposely skip our table and she even walked past us when we called her to go to the front and smoke a vape! We asked her for the ticket at 8:20 and she literally made us wait until 8:45. We had to go up to the front just to get her to acknowledge us. If you decide to come here, then make sure you don't get her as a server and make sure you ask for your food fresh."

"Best in San Antonio. I do not live in San Antonio, but when I visit, I make it a point to go to El Bosque. The atmosphere is nothing to brag about, but I go there for the good food not for the ambiance. The food is inexpensive and the business is family run. The enciladas are very unique and tasty. The regular tacos are a bit bland, but over all I give this business the 'thumbs up '. This is the standard for good San Antonio mexican food."

"My husband and I have been here many times and most times have been great! Service is always wonderful. The staff are super friendly and attentive and will absolutely do what they can for you. We’ve had a few hiccups with wrong food but it was corrected each time which is also why we continue to dine there. We have never been there and had to wait for a table for more than 5 minutes. My kids love the bright colors and all the beautiful art work. Very cool place to grab some dinner! The taco salad is absolutely amazing! The shells bowl is so fresh!"
