"For instance, servers were eating in the expo area where food is transferred from the kitchen. Our server was eating just a few feet from our table, hand to mouth. While I understand that staff need to take breaks—having worked in restaurants myself—I was surprised that neither of the servers washed their hands before returning to their regular duties after eating. Additionally, plates with leftover food were left in the expo area while fresh meals and drinks were being prepared there for customers. These are clear violations, and if the servers have their food handler's license or ServeSafe certifications, they should be aware of these rules.
The manager was present during all this and didn’t address the issues with the staff.
On top of these concerns, I found the pricing to be quite confusing. We ordered 6 breakfast tacos, 2 breakfast plates at $6.50 each, 1 eggs and toast a la carte, 4 coffees, and 3 soft drinks along with 3 extra flour tortillas, and our bill came to $69, which included gratuity. It seems like we had more food on previous visits, and the bill was only in the $40s. I really can’t understand how we ended up with a $70 bill this time."
