"We visited the restaurant this past Mother’s Day, and we usually go there every Sunday. It was me, my mother, my daughter, and my nephew. I had stepped out the side door with my daughter while my mom was going to settle the bill and decided to use the restroom first. Someone mistakenly assumed we were leaving without paying, which made for an awkward situation. The manager was quite rude to my mother and me, even suggesting there was something wrong with us. I told her that the real issue was her yelling at customers. We settled the bill, but we’ve decided not to return due to their poor customer service. They clearly lack the ability to handle disagreements appropriately and don’t seem to value their customers. The manager was dismissive and very rude, and the server did not help the situation either. Overall, it was a terrible experience. The only other person of color we noticed in the establishment was an older Black man who worked in the back. It makes you wonder if we would have been treated differently if we were older white patrons or from a different social background. Just a truly disappointing experience."
