"My daughter, Katrina Olson, has completely fallen in love with this charming little hidden gem! She finally brought me here, and I must say, it has a wonderfully humble and cozy atmosphere. Our server, Kerril (with a K), greeted us as if we were old friends—so warm and welcoming! I ordered the Enchiladas, but there was a mix-up, and the owner accidentally prepared Chilli con Queso instead. As it turned out, that was a delightful mistake! My daughter was ecstatic! Honestly, it's the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time! The owner, Koch, has been running this establishment since 1969, which is truly admirable! We will definitely be coming back!!! Highly recommended!!!"

"Most of the times we've visited, there have been a few other customers, which might be because Tuesday afternoons are the only time John and I can go together. We like to think of it as our own little private restaurant. I enjoy Mexican food, but I can't handle it too spicy, while John prefers a little more heat. I'm glad this restaurant has something for both of us. The seating area was a bit cramped; my feet didn't quite touch the ground and the table felt lower than usual and a bit far away. I might need to bring a cushion for my back next time! Perhaps it feels particularly special to me because it’s a place I share with my dear one. We don't get to spend enough time together."

"I?m sorry I don?t like to leave bad reviews because I know what it does to a business but this place is not running their business well at all. They are new and should definitely be on top of things like menu pricing and actually keeping the kitchenstocked with the menu items that are listed. Tried to order Mofongo con carnefrita. 20$ which is ok. I?ll pay it. Then theydon?t have the pork so I said OK make it however. But I find out the Mofongo is actually $23 according to the bartender and itdoes not come with rice or anything else. I?m sorry I don?t want to pay $30 for lunch at a small little rinky-dink bar. I havealso been there for the club nights. They want 10 $20 to walk in the door but there?s no DJ nobody?s even there they want $40just to smoke a hookah. I would pay those prices if the place had some kind of entertainment or even other people lol was finebut everybody just seems very money hungry and just want to give minimal minimal minimal customer service. I?m sorry guysItreally just seems like you need to change how you?re running things there or switch your priorities around. Just because youhave good food doesn?t mean you can let all other areas slack and charge whatever you want. I don?t think you guys will be herelong"

"This restaurant has a lot of potential. I visited for dinner on Saturday, and they were only half full. The food was quite good; the chips, guacamole, and queso were fresh and well-seasoned. The Texas sandwich had perfectly smoked meats, and the sauces were impressive, especially the house sauce. The Charro beans on the side were outstanding, and the margarita was delicious. However, the service was a significant drawback. Although the staff was friendly, it took over an hour for our sandwiches to arrive, and we didn't receive any check-ins for a second round of drinks. I had taken a long Uber ride just to enjoy a couple of drinks, so the long wait was disappointing. There was a span of 20 to 30 minutes when no one attended to our table. We didn't receive a proper apology or any adjustment to our bill for the excessive wait time. I hope they can address these issues and make it work because if the service doesn't improve..."

"The food was served cold, and although they offered to refill our drinks, they came in small glasses filled with ice. I ordered the fried shrimp, which were good but also cold. The only thing on my plate that I really enjoyed was the stir-fried vegetables. The atmosphere felt a bit messy and overly crowded."

"Every time we go there, the food is absolutely delicious. We usually have the same waiter, who is a lot of fun and often sings along with the background music. The tacos are fantastic; my personal favorites are the steak fajita taco and the salmon taco. Since we typically visit during off-peak hours, our food arrives in under 10 minutes! It’s a perfect place for a quick lunch. The only drawback I can point out is the rice, which doesn't quite stand out."
