"The food tastes fresh and is full of flavor. The portion sizes are quite generous for the price. However, the guacamole could use some improvement; it should have more avocado than other ingredients. I would appreciate having combination dishes, like a taco, enchilada, and burrito, so I could sample a variety of items. During my last visit, I ordered stewed chicken but received beef, even though the woman who took my order repeated it back to me. That said, the beef was still tasty. I do find the restaurant a bit too dark, even on sunny days, so I prefer to get takeout instead."

"I went here months ago and it was just alright, so decided to give it another try. Got the pork pozole soup. This soup didn't smell right from the moment i opened the container. The soup was hot, yet the broth itself was almost jello-like consistency, almost congealed. The pozole texture is 100000% not supposed to be congealed. The broth did not taste right at all and the meat was borderline starting to go bad. I just don't know how you serve a customer with a soup that both smells bad and looks bad. Would like a refund but I know that's likely not to happen.You guys have to do better than this."

"I am not one for americanized Mexican food, which is why the tacos I had here were so refreshing. Shells weren't dried out, the ingredients were fresh, delicious, and reminded me if the kind of food I like to eat at home. The habanero salsa (you gotta ask for it) was a great finishing touch. Service is friendly, but a little disorganized. I will definitely be back for more tacos here."

"Love this place! Taco salads, ceviche tostada and vegetarian or fish tacos are my go-to. Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos are great, pretty much anything can be made vegetarian if you leave off the meat. Kid-friendliness: The arcade in the same complex used to be a big draw, but it has relocated to the hallway of the complex and leaves something to be desired. They have wonderful decorations and pieces of heritage throughout the restaurant that my son looks at, and my sister brings her kids here quite often. They have lots of little quarter machines by the doors, too."

"I really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. The carne asada was really tasty and the rice was outstanding. The guacamole needed a bit more flavor, but I was able to fix it. The service was excellent and everything so far has been delicious. The place was very clean."

"Nice little spot I passed by chance, and decided to walk in. Well, I'm glad I did. Excellent food, classics done well. The server was just really warm, and the hosts made me feel really welcome. I never comment on anything like that normally, but it just stood out and should be mentioned. The guacamole was really a 5/5 a feat not so easily accomplished in a simple dish that can be difficult to differentiate from other versions. The tortilla chips had a slight slight lime/vinegar that was so subtle yet unifying. The horchata was richer than many other places, the meat was so well executed. I have never seen another taqueria or any restaurant in this space prepare meat in such a very curiously devoted way. I got barbacoa, asada (which is usually dreadfully boring) and al pastor. I could write a review on each and every taco, but just take my word it is the most tender and perfectly seasoned balance. I was truly impressed, and to be honest, I was not expecting that. Truly a 5."

"I dropped in for a quick drink on my way home to escape the snow. Expecting it to still be a local spot, I was surprised to be charged $14 for a Tequila Sunrise made with well tequila. The two unpleasant guys at the bar—one of whom had a strong bad breath odor and kept bothering me—didn't make the experience any better. I ended up leaving after 15 minutes. "Very good food, I usually order the molcajete and the chillate de pollo from this place, on this occasion I had a hair in the soup, I contacted them and they sent me another soup, on top of that I had to pay for the plastic containers (there are no problem) but the soup they sent me also had a hair! Unfortunately it is not possible so they have to improve their quality."
