"A fun, festive and quirky spot right off the main drag. I'm assuming this is the only spot with these types of vibes in San Rafael. They have a cozy indoor space, while their outside parklet has a few tables, heaters and speakers to keep the party going. The menu is large and covers dishes from Latin to Asian to a few spaghetti dishes. Usually not the best sign, but in this case it kind of worked. I ended up with the guava lime shrimp on a bed of creamy rice. It was solid. I prefer a bit more spice and that was easily remedied with hot sauce. It rang in at $28 and while it was filling, it was by no means a very upscale entree. My dining partner opted for veggie tacos. She asked and was told they would consist of potatoes, carrots and peppers. What came out were tacos with mostly zucchini and squash and beans (a vegetable she doesn't love which is why she asked). A bit of a let down. Overall, solid. The space inside is perfect for a group dining situation where I think this place would shine. It was fun for a catch up dinner and the food sufficed."
