"What a great experience at Caffe Portofino. On a hectic Fathers Day they were amazing. I had a friend and his family including small children who’s first language is not English. We used our phones to do the interpretation and it was a little chaotic. However, our server and his support staff were patient and helpful. I’m from out of town but will visit again"

"We had the potatoes and a beef empanada and the sauce for both was delicious. We also had a sweet corn cake and it too was excellent. We had two main courses grouper with a red pepper sauce and beef with a sofrito. The main dishes came with two or three sides each all of which were prepared perfectly. The total bill for three appetizers, two main courses, and two beers was $60 complete bargain for food of this quality! The server was very attentive and the restaurant quiet. I would highly recommend this restaurant."

"Lovely family operated restaurant serving the Venezuelan staples of empanadas, arepas, and cachapas. The dad is head chef, the mom is a sous chef, one daughter is the pastry chef, and another works the dining room. That said, the service can be slow. Eventually, very friendly, but slow . The food is great from superior ingredients and authentic preparation. The dining room is Ikea chic and holds around 40 patrons. Parking on the street, a SEPTA station lot, and a nearby parking structure are convenient to the restaurant. "I loved it here. Parkings a little tough in Ridgewood because the parkimg meter guy is a ginnie. He is out there looking for meters that are a second over. And will ticket you if you are not in your car or are extending your time to stay in the spot.Now for the coffee at Rey Sol Coffee all I have to say is get any iced coffee and you'll get an iced coffee bear ? to compliment your drink. To be honest that's literally what drew me into the coffee house was the bear and I am so happy I went.I felt like I was in a tropical rain forest the Cafe is very chic and inviting. The music ? is not over bearing but reminds you of tranquility. I loved it, my best friend loved it. We met some nice people and had a great time we ? will definitely go back. There desserts and pastries are delicious ?"

"We were pleasantly surprised by the food and the ambience. We live in the neighborhood and wonder why it took us so long to enjoy a great meal there. "I was not impressed by this restaurant. Food was lacking, staff was barely engaging, and the price point did not meet expectations. I ordered the tacos, and they were cols, and they lacked flavor. I expected a protein because of the menu description, but I was disappointed. I ordered bacon on the side, and it was pre‐cooked microwave (and required 20 mins to reach my table. Orange juice was bottles. Establishment is not readily identified. This was not a good experience for my son and me."

"This place really wasn't worth the $6.35 I spent on parking, and there were no clear directions to find it. After some searching, I eventually located it a block away. The customization options were rather limited, and I was hoping for fresh-baked bagels or other bakery items, but they didn't seem fresh at all. I ordered the Turkey Avocado sandwich and requested yellow mustard instead of aioli. Unfortunately, when I got home, I discovered it came with aioli after all. The bread was too tough to bite into, and the turkey was dry. On the bright side, my cat and dog enjoyed the turkey, and the tomato and greens were tasty. The coffee was decent, though."
