"On a positive note, the room was clean, and we received daily check-ins from the staff who provided fresh towels. However, there was no microwave in our room, though we found one in a room just two doors down. To get ice for our cooler, we had to go into the restaurant and wait for someone to assist us, which was inconvenient since the restaurant is closed on Mondays.
The town doesn’t offer much in terms of shopping; it’s quite quiet and requires some traveling for stores. The nearest grocery store we located was in Copper Harbor. On the upside, there are many nearby beaches, which were lovely. This place is pet-friendly but charges an extra fee. It's not far to walk to the beach, which was clean and nice, but be warned: if you visit at dusk, you'll be swarmed by mosquitoes. Even after applying repellent, they were quite bothersome.
Overall, while this place has its merits, it's not the best choice if you're looking for shopping and a lively atmosphere."
